Probably the last time I watched this:

I'm sorry that I did not understand any of this, but may I ask how do you know this language? I am a language major in English, and even I've rarely heard this language spoken before. Do you also speak German?

This is from the other crying thread a few weeks back. The answer is still true.

You think it'll be okay. Yeah it's kinda sad but you can take it.

Then BAM! The last two minutes.

Cold Days by Jim Butcher was the closest I've been in a while. I mean damn.

The first time Harry reunited with his vampire half brother after being in a coma and in six months of secret rehab while everyone still thought he was dead due to a suicide attempt harry committed to try an avoid become a monster like his bother already is... it was pretty heavy stuff.

When I got to the carnival scene in To The Moon. I was doing okay before that, it was getting a little emotional in places but I was still resilient, but then that scene came along... It wasn't even just like a single manly tear, it was full red eyed water works. I was crying as if I had just been told my dog had died just after watching Bambi and Old Yeller back to back. God damn you To The Moon! You made me feel things.

I recently read The Fault in Our Stars, by John Green.

This has been the first of any form of media to evoke this reaction from me despite the fact I've read and watched some heart string tuggers in my time.

Me finishing Final Fantasy XIII, that ending got a few tears out of me.
When Sazh finally sees Dahj again. Ever since Dahj was introduced in Chapter 6 I believe, I was always interested in that story arc then the real game. When Sazh sees Dahj with Vanille then becomes a crystal I was pretty close to tearing up because of how much I wanted a father to see his son again and then at the final Barthandelus fight showed Dahj and Serah shattering also made me sad but finally seeing Sazh and Dahj get reunited again was enough to make me tear up. People may not like XIII that much but that moment was very heart warming.

It was the Hobbit for me, too. Not the ending, though; it was when Bilbo says, "Yes, I do miss my home, but that's why I came back. Because you don't have one".

I'm not kidding; a single, manly tear fell at that line.
That scene was great also. The movie was light on character development overall (not really surprising considering the source material), but scenes like that one were really nice.

This scene really got me.

Watching my dad play Metal Gear Solid when I was very young, and remembering how badass Solid Snake was.

Playing Metal Gear Solid 2, once again admiring how badass Snake was.

And the tidal wave of emotions from playing Metal Gear Solid 3.

I literally said "Don't do it, Snake!" out loud when I saw what he was going to do. When I heard that gunshot... the tears started falling.

Thankfully, he didn't actually go through with it, but still, it hurt a lot.

Also, the entirety of the movie We Were Soldiers.

"Kinda makes you wish you signed up for submarines, don't it?"

So many fathers, brothers and sons dying...

Complete seriousness: I just got some new speakers for my stereo, an old set of Fisher floorstanders that I found for a song in a thrift shop. They're my fronts now, with my old fronts being rotated to the back. Anyway, when I first ran some music through them, it was so beautiful that it actually made me tear up. It wasn't even a sad song, it was fricken' Jump by Van Halen[footnote]Laugh all you want, the synthesizers on that track have some complicated layerying to them, you can't reproduce them right with cheap bookshelf speakers[/footnote]. These aren't even amazing audiophile speakers, they're just that much better than anything I've had before. So yeah, good sound reproduction made a grown man cry. I think I need help.

When I heard that Barney Bush died

He seemed like such a cool dog and I had great memories of watching the videos of him that the White House put out.

...how do you accidentally do that?
I had been upset with Ben all episode 4 so when it came time to save him, I spent too much time facepalming to check the right button to pull him up. When I looked up, time was almost out so I pressed the wrong button. Immediately regretted that one. The little bastard mostly made up for ep. 4 in ep. 5. Mostly.

The ending of Angel Beats. It's a great anime, one that everybody who likes anime should watch.

Something that really got me was the end of Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. Everybody who has played Final Fantasy VII should know Zack's story. But damn it was still hard.

The Hobbit made me tear up a few times. I'd been waiting so long for that film and I loved the book as a child. So when 'Concerning Hobbits' kicked in on the soundtrack and Bilbo said "In a hole in a ground, there lived a Hobbit", I am completely unashamed to admit I shed a tear or two. That film made me feel all the feels.

Simple question about emotions.

I rarely ever cry. If I do its never over anything that is fiction. Well, I just came the closed I have to actually shedding a tear about an hour ago after watching what has so far been released of the anime Kotoura-san
I FUCKING LOVE THIS ANIME. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY, BUT I ACTUALLY FEEL EMOTIONS FOR THESE PEOPLE. WHY. THE PREMISE ISN'T EVEN POSSIBLE IN THE REAL WORLD. NO PERSON HAS PSYCHIC POWERS. I CAN SEPARATE FICTION FROM REALITY. I WATCHED AND ENJOYED THE MOST MIND-FUCKING CARTOONS AS A CHILD AND I TURNED OUT FINE, BUT SHOW ME A GIRL THAT HAS BEEN HURT BY LIFE AND I TURN INTO A LITTLE BABY. (and caps lock off...)

Okay, back to reality to try to rationalize this.

Well, I guess its because I kind of identify with the main character. I was always the weird child, the one that was teased for being different than everyone else. So I guess that's a reason that I feel for these people, but it still doesn't explain why I actually teared up. Maybe I'm just growing soft, but somehow I doubt that. Maybe its just because the show is just sad, but that can't be right! I mean, its listed as a Romantic Comedy! ITS A COMEDY FOR PEAT'S SAKE!

Well, as it stands i'm gonna keep an eye on this show as it progresses. I hope it isn't this sad every episode (but part of me wants it to be.)/endrant
Other than that I did wake up crying after a dream a while back, but all I can remember about the dream is that I was being left behind from a group because I had been bitten by a zombie.

So, when was the last time something (either in media or IRL) made you cry?
What anime was it?

Last time I cried was probably with my breakup two weeks ago.
