This topic is great. It's an idiot detector. It highlights those wonderful people who only read a topic's title before posting.
I think the 360's Arcade redesign looked nice, especially since they went with all white instead of the uggly ass chrome cd tray. The ps3 PS3's heft and shape isn't very appealing and the piano black surface attracts dust like a mother fucker. That being said the special Yakuza 3 PS3 is one of the most beautiful consoles I've ever seen.
I do like the Wii's small form factor but it's really just a box.
The DS lite is an attractive handheld, far better than the original DS and any of the Advance incarnations (although the micro was pretty swank) but I think a PSP in any colour other than 'dust magnet' black looks great too. Too bad you have to cover them with ugly ass screen protectors and cases.
My personal favourite is probably the Megadrive (Genesis) 2 which took an originally clunky looking console and made it a lot sleeker.
No console however can match up to the sheer variation and potential of a PC Case (custom or otherwise)
