Yeeeeeaaahhh. Just seems to confirm that stupid criminals are often the quickest ones caught. I initially felt sorry for the 'baby father' poor guy, still do, and then thought, "What the heck did he do to get her that ticked off?" This case needs a bit more information for me to form any sort of coherent non-emotional reaction.

I have a feeling people like this think that they can always just say they were joking and everything will be fine. The cant be that stupid.

BTW is Baby Father the formal of Baby Daddy?

No, no no no no no hell no.
This just can't be.
It HAS to be a joke. I mean, the woman herself probably laughed and said "I'll post something on Facebook that shows how much i hate my baby father!" I mean, that's really stupid, but no-one would be stupid to actually do something like this and serious about it.

I love how people seem to think that they can just post stuff on Facebook and not see any consequences coming from it.

Should've used Craigslist.
Actually, yeah, loads of illegal stuff is done via there...child prostitution, for example.
People sell children on Craigslist? Well, that's one of the worse things I've ever heard in my life... I'ma cry a little now :(
Yeah...I put "Craiglist child" into google, and it helpfully gave me "prostitution" as a possible ending for the search phrase. Newspaper artciles about it going back 4 years.

Apparently they've shut it down earlier this year. Or at least made it less blatant.

Also, an excerpt about it:

This happened just earlier this year didn't it? In a similar fashion? Do people just not pay attention?

Also, how is it attempted murder if said attempted murder never occurred? Wouldn't it just be conspiracy to commit murder as well?

Hmmm...let me go dig up some crime statistics then

I'd recommend going to the muppets trailer thread and watching the Swedish Chef making Popcorn.

I have a nephew who got hurt by his dad -- who know has sole custody of him -- maybe that makes me overly sensitive.

To popcorn!

No, I'd say it means you're not as comfortably oblivious as most people. Child abuse is one of the things people should be more upset by.

The said part is, this isn't the first time I've heard of somebody trying to hire a hitman over Facebook...

So bloody sad and messed up, but I agree.

EDIT: how creepy... Comfortably Numb just came on.

London was arrested on June 10, charged with conspiracy to commit murder, and is being held on $250,000 vail.
"Bail" or "veil"? I certainly don't know where they'd find a $250,000 piece of cloth.

OT: Why haven't people grasped the idea of "Public" yet!? At any rate, I hope they continue to not do so. It makes catching criminals so much easier.
