They should have just gone with the redesign from the comics. Looks kickass, sexy, and yet oddly reasonable and un-slutty.

I mean come on. Wouldn't you rather watch a show about THIS chick?

Now THAT'S a feminine goddamn icon! And do you even know how fast and how many of those badass leather jackets they would sell? I can't figure out why they would cut that, when it's what MAKES the new design.

Too much clothes.
I agree, you know who else had a good TV Wonder Woman costume? Linda Carter.

Still, it was always unlikely this would be a good show anyway. I'll wait and see.

It's all well and good, but I'm still trying to figure out why Amazons on a hidden isle have a super hero outfit that looks so very American.

So... does this mean the show will have more than half a season? I doubt it. It has a very cheesy stink that means it won't last long.

Not sure about this facebook system. Am i double posting?

Yeah this is much better. She wears pants on occasion in the comic book, too. Its not like they gave her a leather jacket and a motorcycle, or something. Its pretty much the same.

Wont change the writing, of course. But if the pictures are indictative of the show, it might be good. Running in the street, possible to punch a terrorist or a car? Sounds like wonder woman to me.

I can only hope they keep the " Amazonian learning American ways" angle, not "ally mcbeal becomes a superhero" direction it might go.

FOUND A VIDEO!

This gives me a small hope for the show. She looks tough, and i hope she smashes the crap out of him when she catches him, lol
"Oh shit. Look at this crazy cracker run." Lol

Well, she doesn't look AS much like some latex fetish model now... but truthfully, the way her outfit is at current I can't say that it would actually look good if the top was cloth or leather, rather than the latex-y spanex-y stuff it is now. The leather boots actually give it a little bit of a retro vibe, which I like.

I felt the jacket looked kinda tacky, the rest of its pretty good.

My preference is stuff like this:

or

This revision is a much needed improvement, but if the script excerpts are anything to go by, the show will probably sink due to bad writing.

I do like the new costume, but I'm still hesitant about getting pumped for the show. The last adaption I got really excited for was the Last Airbender movie, and it pretty much taught me to never love again.

Personally, I think the show should use the rebooted comic imagery that cast the Amazon woman hero in a more modern outfit, but that's probably just me.
If you are referring to the (quite frankly awful) reboot costume designed by Jim Lee and announced last year then one of the reasons they might not be using it (apart from it being bland and uninteresting) is that it is not a permament costume change. The reboot costume is her costume in a 12 part storyline involving a change to her timeline and she will get her proper costume back at the end of it.

Same answer I gave to above quote applies.

Wonder Woman Costume Revised for TV Pilot

Filming for the pilot of the new Wonder Woman show has begun and photo from the set has emerged.

Earlier this month we got a glimpse of Adrianne Palicki in her costume [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/news/view/108612-Take-a-Peek-at-New-TV-Wonder-Womans-Boobalicious-Duds] for the new TV series being developed by David E. Kelley. The bustier definitely showed off Palicki's upper chest region, which gave some pause, but most of the criticism leveled at the costume was the shiny latex pants and the weird matching blue boots. A photo of Palicki in costume as Wonder Woman from the set of the pilot now reveals a revised costume that, while still boobalicious, at least doesn't quite look so trashy.

The pants are no longer shiny spandex - and hopefully no longer squeak every step she takes - and the boots have gone to a more pleasing cherry red.

The whole getup is a far cry from the original costume occupied by Linda Carter in the show from the seventies, and is miles away from the short flowing skirt made famous from Wonder Woman's first appearance in January 1942's Sensation Comics.

Personally, I think the show should use the rebooted comic imagery that cast the Amazon woman hero in a more modern outfit, but that's probably just me.

assuming that this is the same Wonder woman that I remember from the comics, there will b a lot of moving and action in that costume, so no offense but the picture of the revised costumes makes the top seem too tight, and the bra section too small for this actress's boobs, plus, why did they not make it out of leather, that woulld have given it better quality in all aspects. Oh and one more thing were are her bottom rip cage, and wonder woman's hips, am I the only one seeing this (or lack of).

Bright colors don't translate so well to reality. This seems positive to me. Still I doubt I'll watch anything about this show beyond the Pilot.

Could be better, could be worse.
As a geek there is still plenty of things I would grumble about.
Stripe on the boots should be white.
Tiara should not be so "moulded" flat plate metal please.
Likewise the eagle and belt should be MOAR metallic, even reflective, also less moulded more flat plate.

Pants are fine I guess... the actress is too skinny anyway and her chicken legs wouldn't really sell the part.
It should have been Megan Gale.
Hell, it should have been Lucy Lawless 10 freaking years ago. -.-

TBH, with Liz Hurley cast as a major villain, we already see the caliber of acting considered acceptable for this show... So no costume tweak in the world is going to save it.
