Better, still should have gone with the new one though, would make it better to use the current costume. Maybe she'll modernize it as the show progresses to the new one *crosses fingers*

I know, I know, t.v. budgets, but sure would be easier to chase that guy while flying.

Why give her pants when she's still expected to fight in that ridiculous strapless top? Especially with those boobs.

To be honest, I kinda preferred the original pants (squeaking excluded), simply because they were more true to the 'fashion disaster' that is most comic book heros.

And am I the only one who saw the down-turning tiara and thought 'Sailor Moon' instantly? I'm convinced that's why they didn't go with the short blue skirt and boots.

It's all well and good, but I'm still trying to figure out why Amazons on a hidden isle have a super hero outfit that looks so very American.
Between this video [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/videos/view/the-big-picture/2628-All-The-World-Is-Waiting] for the backstory and this thread [http://www.comicvine.com/wonder-woman/29-2048/about-wonder-woman/92-582798/] directly addressing the question, I think you should be pretty well covered.

A step in the right direction. Now she looks less... hookerery.
Though I still wont be happy till shes wearing the star covered panties.
Because running around in star-spangled panties and a bustier isn't "hookery?"

They should have just gone with the redesign from the comics. Looks kickass, sexy, and yet oddly reasonable and un-slutty.

I mean come on. Wouldn't you rather watch a show about THIS chick?

Now THAT'S a feminine goddamn icon! And do you even know how fast and how many of those badass leather jackets they would sell? I can't figure out why they would cut that, when it's what MAKES the new design.
I felt the jacket looked kinda tacky, the rest of its pretty good.

My preference is stuff like this:

or

This revision is a much needed improvement, but if the script excerpts are anything to go by, the show will probably sink due to bad writing.
This show looks like crap and probably will be, but that second image in your post is cool looking. THAT is how I imagine Wonder Woman looking.

WOOOOOOOOW...! I mean, really. In a sense, I'm glad the weirdness was drained out of it, simply because there's enough of it there to cause anyone's head to start acting like a revolving door. That said, it is sad that Wonder Woman isn't more popular (which makes this new attempt at a TV show a welcome sight). I can't help but wonder what the show will be like.

Thank goodness! Much better! I hated that first costume. It made the chick look like crap and it made a mockery of my beloved wonderwoman!

I feel that was a healthy revise to be honest. The tightness of her pants actually kind of put me off. She does show a lot of cleavage, but I'm actually liking that. AFAIK, she always does that anyways in most incarnations of the character, and if that were changed for TV or something then that wouldn't fly with a lot of fans in my opinion.
Teenagers are so hard to please...

Oh yes, this is much better.

I know some people are crying that it's not enough like the original, but considering this series ISN'T taking place in the 70s, a little more modern and practical is a reasonable thing, I think.

I think the change it a good idea. Some concepts don't translate well from comic books and shiny pants are one of them. The new design looks somewhat functional although the belt still looks like it came from a dollar store costume or a WWE match.

It's a welcome change, especially since she doesn't look like as much like a model for some latex fetish crowd, but honestly I'm still not sold. The rest of the outfit still looks pretty tacky (cheap material, etc), and I have yet to be sold on the actress. Especially since she doesn't appear to have any actual muscle tone of any kind.

Seriously, casting directors. Lean muscle isn't scary, and women with it can still be attractive (look at some of the women of MMA). And it helps sell the "superheroine with great strength" angle.
