After I had recovered from my disbelief I decided to pose this question to my fellow escapists, what is the single worst excuse you've seen someone making/heard of someone making?

I've never played it.

Its worth it. Storyline is at least decent, but the gameplay is fun.

Poor dude would have the worst luck ever.

He did have some a reasonable excuse, like forgetting his bike lock so he rode home to get it so was late. That's actually it for his plausible excuses.

One of the teachers actually phoned home about a few of them. Shame she didn't tell us whether they were true or not.

I used that one about 4 times on my Math teacher when i skipped out on a few exams. I didnt wanna take them, and he wasnt willing to check the bathroom to see if i was lying.
