If you try telling me that Danny Boyle is a bad director then I'll have to hunt you down and remove your tonsils. I'm sorry, but you're not allowed to hold an opinion like this.

Anyway, most modern directors are shit. I'd say my favourite director of the last decade, though, is Clint Eastwood, closely tied with Scorsese.

I'm very sorry, friend, but I did not like the way that Sunshine and 28 Days Later were directed. They were two movies I loved when I heard of the plot, but hated when I actually saw. In theory they would have worked - but I did not enjoy the way the scenes were directed.

What's that? You don't know who that is? Don't worry, you weren't expected to. This is the piece of shit that directed Death Racers. Not Death Race, Death Racers. Death Racers is the mockbuster version of Death Race. Why is it bad? It stars INSANE CLOWN POSSE.

Death Racers is the worst movie ever made. Bar none.
Why would you even think of watching a movie that stars Insane Clown Posse? o___o
I was young and reckless! I thought it would be so-bad-its-awesome at the time, but....it wasn't. It was painful. It literally sapped my will to live and I couldn't say anything but "I'm sorry I brought that movie, guys" for the next three hours.

Ed Wood? No, he's actually quite fun to watch.

M. Night Shamaylayfhdjsklfha or whatever. I find his films excruciating.

Also, M. Night? There doesn't have to be a twist in everything.
Have you seen the recent It's Always Sunny episode in reference to that? It's pretty great.

Micheal Mann, no doubt, Miami Vice was atrocious enough to justify killing that bastard.

Bruno Mattei. An obscure choice, but one well deserved.

He also co-directed the film "Porno Holocaust" and his own version of "Terminator II", which uses the art from the original "Terminator" but actually has more similarity to the film "Aliens".

Ok, well, we can find some common ground here. Sunshine almost became my favourite movie of all time - until the third act. When everything started getting generic and bland, I lost interest. Up until then, it was a phenomenal movie.

28 Days Later, meanwhile, I enjoyed thoroughly. In my opinion, it utilized the shaky-cam very well. Of course, it was excellently-directed, but I think it pulled off the documentary feel well.

Roger Christian for Battlefield Earth... The actual worst film ever made...

At least Uwe Boll can feel slightly happier by the fact that he didn't make it.

Oh look, more idiots bleating out Michael Bay hate... "Boo hoo, everyone thinks transformers was bad so he must be like the worst director ever! I don't care that I've never seen another Bay film because he's shit and all he does is explosions..."
Pearl Harbor? What about The Island, one of the worst movies I've ever seen. People have been hating on Michael Bay long before Transformers, and for good reason.
Both are good films in my opinion and I particularly enjoyed The Island. If you thought they were that bad then your abillity to properly critique a film is lacking... Just because you didn't like them doesn't mean that Bay is a bad director.

Give me some actual reasons Pearl Harbour and The Island are terrible films, worse say than Meet the Spartans or Epic Movie...

Okay. I'll admit that I really did enjoy sunshine too, until the third act. But the shaky-cam in 28 days later was obnoxious to me. Oh well.

I thought my sarcasm was fairly obvious, maybe it's harder to do so when my words exist solely as text.

Or racist and inappropriate comic-relief characters.

He had about 12 of them in Transformers 2.

I was thinking of making this a Michael Bay or Uwe Boll initially, but we have enough versus threads as it is.

Anyway, Uwe Boll is my least favorite--Michael Bay comes in close second, but ultimately loses (wins?) out because I thought the "Skorponok" scene in the first Transformers was pretty good. (Though it was also the ONLY scene in the movie I liked.)
Actually, Boll & Bay are on my top 4 worst list. Just slip in Woody Allen & Ed Wood. There's also a fistfull of 80s/90s horror directors, but I doublt I've seen more than one film per director.

Anybody who has not experienced Tommy Wiseau's "The Room" has not yet lived. His directing and acting abilities are so bad that it's endearing.

Uwe Boll is also quite bad, but he shows some improvement here and there (I actually kinda liked the first half of Postal), and at least you come to know what to expect from him. I like the guy, though. I met him once and he's really nice as a person, even if his movies suck.

Joel Schumacher can be bad, but he can also be good, quite often in the same movie.

M. Night Shyamalan is bad, but I just don't even watch his movies, so he's irrelevant to me.

Michael Bay angers me the most because he is a huge waste of potential. Not only was Transformers 2 terrible save for about 2 scenes, but the depiction of Skids and Mudflap were so offensive that I get a good laugh out of it from sheer disbelief. I was about to forgive the movie for all sins provided that they delivered on giving us Devastator. The end result was tragic.

I have also refused to watch Pearl Harbour. I know some people might tell me that I can't criticize a movie that I haven't seen yet, so I won't. But I think it's fair of me to say that I can come to certain conclusions about the movie before even watching it, and those who have seen it confirmed my suspicions. If people actually told me that it was worth watching, I might have checked it out so I can form my own opinion, but I have been assured it was a waste of time.

Any and all who were responsible for movies like Meet the Spartans and Disaster Movie need to be shot. First in the balls, then in the kneecaps, then the elbows. Then, they should be left in the middle of the desert.
