Mass effect 2 has a terrible last boss fight. After playing through the last section which pleased me immensly I am confronted with an awful boss fight. Totally unsatisfying

Fable II.
No question. I'm still awaiting my final boss fight with Lucien.
I don't count having Reaver shoot him for me as a boss fight.

I have to say the original Bioshock. You get to the end and have to fight a statue straight out of Atlus Shrugged. >_>

But I'm glad Bioshock 2 fixed that. The ending was amazing in that one.

Borderlands was pretty bad. After the "ending" i reloaded a previous save because i thought the game was glitched.

Another pretty bad ending is the one from earth 2160.
Earth is pretty much destroyed and some People have found a nice Planet to live on. This Planet has some hibernating creatures, which are evil and woken up by the evil mad doctor. At the end of the game, some interdimensional Portal comes up, which will bring new aliens, maybe evil ones, maybe good ones. A cutscene is shown which has this portal activating and then...
cut to end credits.

There's a difference between a bad ending and a very good cliff hangar.
No, I think that was just a bad ending. The scene with Desmond standong holding the Apple had no prompts whatsoever. It took me 20 minutes to figure out it wasnt a loading screen. And then death and bullcrap.

I have to put my vote in on Borderlands as worst ending ever. It ruined the entire point of the game.

Put up a fucking spoiler alert, man! I just fucking bought that game!
Statute of limitations says if the game is over two years old, spoiler alerts are not needed.

Enslaved.

Oh my fucking god.

REALLY? This bullshit?
The thing is the story with Enslaved is that Dragonball gave the Journey to the West story more justice. Enslaved was trying too hard to slap moral bullshit in your face. This is why I say Ninja Theory hasn't made a good game yet.

Also a bad ending was the ending in Black because EA didn't push for any kind of a sequel and the clusterfuck of a story was left with a cliffhanger.

The real ending of Shadow Hearts because it's a tear jerk I'll leave it at that...

Without a shadow of a doubt: STALKER - shadow of Chernobyl. It makes you fight thru dozens of ridiculously overpowered military elites which are always behind cover when you are in the open and then all you get for beating them is a pile of rubble sitting on top of you. And I played on easy so I dread to think what they can do on hard.
You do know that you got one of the bad endings?
I was going to say STALKER as well because I got the same ending. What a disappointing way to end the game, all because I sold some stuff with the intent of buying new armor, but didn't because I realized I was so close to the end. If somebody had told me "by the way, don't have too much money when you finish the game or it will ruin the entire narrative which was held together by a thread anyway." that would have been great.
Not to mention the whole
go left for bad endings, go right for good endings, with no explanation about either.
Very poorly done ending in my opinion.

Kotor 2.... It's so bad I don't even want to explain, man... UGH.
I'd say the ending was more confusing than bad and the game kinda of more than made up for it.

Assassin's Creed.
Damn Cliffhangers that make no sense and usher in an excuse for the developers to make a sequel...

Fable 2, Then Fable 3...

Haven't tryed Fable 1... But beacuse of the latter two Im assumeing they do that same skip around the final boss fight....

And the whole shadow possesing your meantor in Fable 3 wasn't close to a boss fight... You should have been able to kill him, THEN fight the actual beast :p
Oh, Fable one actually had a pretty good boss fight, I think.
Jack of Blades! Spam magic or bow and use melee on the enemies he summons, easy as pie then. But the ending wasn't that much better you had
to kill your sister and become the ultimate evil villain or something like it or destroy the epic sword
either way the game ended but The Lost Chapters which was released later let you continue to refight Jack
AS A DRAGON!
I still don't get it...

And I believe Fable 2 and 3 were aiming for emotional endings with a bit of humour in numba 2's.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood. What. The. Fuck?!
Yep another Cliff hanger brought to you by the people who make Assassin's Creed.

Okay enough quotes time for my input.

The Darkness. That game was great but the ending was below mediocre. I kept replaying it trying to find an alternative ending but there was none which really pissed me off. But maybe the sequel which has been announced will redeem the first game.

PoP: TFS had a dreadful ending. You could see what was going to happen right from the beginning which makes the game feel like theres no point to playing it.

And SW:TFU.
You finally get to the end of the deathstar and have a choice after beating Darth Vader. Either proceed to kill Lord Vader in his weakened state and take his position of power or fight The Emperor. Once you defeat the Emperor and are about to strike the killing blow, you are pushed aside by Darth Vader and end up dead basically (can't remember how exactly he dies). It just seems lame that you are able to pull down Star Destroyers and rip AT-ATs apart as well as kill giant plant monsters (stuff the Vader doesn't seem able to do) as well as beat Vader but are seemingly not able to recover from being force pushed and zapped by force electricity.
Also I hate the idea he is cloned in the second one. What's the point!

Assassins Creed 2 - I loved the game, the ending nearly had me in tears, it was that shit.
What about Brotherhood's ending, it sucked way more then 2's. I didn't like RDR's ending, you shoot this retired old fart while he's fishing. If it was I that wanted revenge I would have taken him down in front of everyone. Completely and utterly destroy his life.

Jericho.

You kill the first born, obviously you are going to since they bring it up pretty early in the game, and then you swim out of a cave.

How do you know the guardian angel wasn't lying to you the whole time and the whole point of the game was to stop the destroyer?
