Most abusive use of "Final" in a name.

it wasnt the final fantasy at all! there was like 13 moar!

just gotta love all the stupid people who dont know stuff in these forums.

The game was titled: Final Fantasy, cause the company that created it (Square Enix) was about to go out of buisness, and they had just enough money to make 1 more game, so they titled it, Final Fantasy, cause it was the final game the company could make before they went bankrupt, but as it turns out, the game was a huge success, and the company made enough money to stay in buisness, so they continued the franchise.

It's not only one of the least catchy titles ever devised, but also completely random-sounding. I mean, you could take any combination of adjectives with similar meanings and create a name with roughly the same impact:

Unseen and Gun-weilding

Stealthy and Trained to Kill
