Star Wars The Force Unleashed.

Half the worlds were re-used.
The cyborg troopers were overly cheap
They completely screwed up the most marketed part of the game, single-handedly bringing down a Star Destroyer
The characters SUCKED!

To my knowledge: Splinter Cell Conviction

Not that it's bad, but it just doesn't have enough there to justify 60 bucks. Also, I bought it at full price largely for the beta, but after Ubisoft dicked around with the release date and completely nullified my reason for buying it so quickly, they'll be lucky if I ever buy a game from them again.

My brother got The Darkness at full price. He was in denile of how bad it was, but eventually realized what he had done.

I can't recall anytimes this has happened because I never buy games full price new.

Monster Hunter for PS2. I wanted to love it soo badly, but i honestly can't actually find one enjoyable thing about the game. It is easily one the worst i have ever played. I've got twenty different reasons why but i won't go into them, It'll take up the entire page ha.

I almost never buy horrible games. If I have to pick the worst game I bought at $60, it would be CoD: Black Ops. When I bought it, the gameplay was so-so, a little better than MW2, but I was playing at about 1/6 the fps. Took me about 50 total hours to get it up to a non-stutter stable 24 fps at minimum quality. Unacceptable. Still, I wouldn't classify the game itself as horrible.

EDIT: I take it back. Empire Earth 3. Worst game I ever bought, no exception. Played for about 2 hours, stopped, and never touched it again until about 2 years later. When I did play it again, I played for 30 minutes and vowed to never install again.

aliens versus predator, the single player and the multiplayer were super bland and uninteresting. im ashamed to say that i preorderred it and was super excited when i picked it up. i finished the game in 2 days and was shocked that a game could be made with such little content and substance in it. i felt as if i had just beem robbed and then slapped across the face for good measure

BF:BC2, maybe wasn't 60 but was at least 50.

*To date the balance system isn't working in BF:BC2*
Same here. Every so often I'll convince myself it was a decent game and I should try it again, and every time I facepalm at how bad it is

Medal of Honour, Rogue Warrior and Bioshock 2. I'm sure there's a similarity in there somewhere.

Mafia 2 - Wasn?t that bad a game, just not worth paying full price for, not by a long way.
FFXIII - No explanation needed.
Dead Rising 2 - I just did not have fun with it at all.

But the most disappointed I?ve ever been by a game would be Driver 3, or as it was called ?Driv3r?.
I remember going into a GAME store not long after it game out and seeing 2 shelf?s FULL of nothing but pre-owned Driver 3 games. Clearly I wasn?t the only one to be disappointed.

Left 4 Dead on Xbox360. 60$ for 4 guns + 3 upgrades, 5 enemy types and 4 levels that doesn't even last 1 hour each. The zombies didn't stay on the floor, and there was no 4 players split screen. Valve fanboys might have appreciated wasting their money, but I am not one of them.

They did the impossible, make a bad and shallow game with a concept such as "kill zombies with friends".
Right, because fanboyism is the only reason why I have 110+ hrs log on L4D. That may be one of the reasons I bought it, that and the "kill zombies with friends" concept, but that game definitely stands on it's own merits... for me anyways. Best $40 (Yay PC) I've ever spent.

Can't actually remember the last game I brought full price. Thanks to steam, amazon and play you can pretty much guarantee a game will be half the price a couple of months after launch.

That said I will be buying Skyrim the day it comes out regardless of reviews. Its gonna rock!

Prince of Persia. GRINDTACULAR and it had just about no difficulty. Also: Elika sucked. And the prince sucked, for that matter.

Hah.
Hah hah hah hah hah.
Spending $60 dollars for a game? I'll do that when my wallet runs for it's fucking life all on it's own, for two reasons:
1) I'm british, so it's more like £50, and
2) I'll wait for it, thank you very much. It's a trait passed down through the family to be a cheapskate. Extreamly prudent with our cash.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II. I even shelled out more cash for the Collector's Edition... The game lasted me for one day and wasn't even good. Worst purchase ever.

LittleBigPlanet is a close second though. Not trying to flame here, just personally found it tedious as hell.

EDIT: Many a post here also reminded me of how I bought the "Ooh! New & Shiny" AvP at launch. Between the anemic single player and the fact that online was either ripping new assholes for anything that moved as the Marines or being scared shitless as a Predator, something went horribly wrong.
