Little Mermaid level in Kingdom Hearts 2... I want 30 min of my life back.
Oh my, that is so true. I found it especially disappointing as the Little Mermaid part in KH1 was really fun.

My vote goes to that stupid 'running around following Farah's voice' part about 3/4 of the way through Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. That part just makes me crazy.

In the Legend of Zelda Minish Cap where you have to bomb this certain wall to get the item to get through the stupid thing. There weren't even cracks on it! The only thing that clued you in were these two skulls against the wall and you had to guess that between those two skulls was a bombable point.
Legend of Zelda do that all the time. It happened in phantom hourglass too i seem to recall. I don't think this constitutes as a worst level.

Amen to that. REason why I choose this particular memory is because it took me several months after searching over and over for the frichin item.

I hated the Escort mission in Bioshock. basically any escort mission in general.

I'm not to partial to No Mercy in L4D either, the 3rd part just seems so freaking long.

Air's Rock, just Air's Rock. It's long and the music is annoying. You do learn Reveal though.
Yeah man, that dungeon was just so god damn annoying. It was super-long, there were way too many random encounters, and pretty much all the puzzles revolved around using whirlwind.

I always thought the airboat level from Half Life 2 was just kind of weird. I don't know, but it never really thrilled me. Just made me wait longer for the rest of the game.

Mile High Club on COD 4. One minute, really? And it has nothing to do with the story.
This. It took me, SO LONG to finish this on Veteran, only to be told "Real Veterans get headshots, not flesh wounds" and sent back to the beginning. I did finally beat it though.

Although, I will make an exception for Red Faction Guerrilla though.
Agreed. I hate escort missions with a passion because it always seems like the person you're protecting walks out into enemy gunfire and there's almost no way to keep them alive because they're so stupid. On the other hand, hostages from Red Faction: Guerrilla seem to actually have a brain and can survive just as well as you can, with regenerating health and everything. Plus it's fun to get them out of their situations lol.

Call of Duty 4: One Shot, One Kill!

The silly ferris wheel one which seems to be the only one I could never complete on Veteran!
Drove me crazy that damn level!
Same. I only beat that level because of a glitch that kept me alive lol.

It was a mission they had designed and intended to include in the game, but no need for it ever arose, so they added it in as an extra.
I didn't know that, thanks for that info lol.

any driving sequence in Mass Effect, totally turned me off to the entire rest of the game ( which was OK in my opinion)

Meat Circus in Psychonauts, definitely. It was so difficult compared to the rest of the game, and really fucked up in general as well.
Absolutely 100% true, I played the whole game non-stop, got to the Big Top and just turned it of, put it away and haven't played since.

OH, and the first Okinawa mission in CoD:WaW, it's called Corkscrew & something... frustratingly and stupidly difficult on Normal and IMPOSSIBLE on veteran. I like a challenge but c'mon.

In CoD:WaW, blowtorch and corkscrew.
Waaaaay too many mg nests.
I estimate I died at least 12 times on the first one alone.

Also the level in prototype where you gotta hijack the tank to consume the guy inside, I don't remember the name, it was like the 2nd to last level though.
Waaaaaaay too many guys with missle launchers.
not to mention they respawn like 2 seconds after you kill them.

Mitsuo's dungeon in Persona 4. The level design wasn't TOO bad but it was annoying to go through, and the boss was a royal pain (and creepy as hell besides).
