Worst Movie you have ever seen

The original SAW was marketed as an action movie with Danny Glover and Ken Leung as the two cops trying to save Cary Elwes and Leigh Whannell before time ran out. For starters, imagine my surprise when the action movie I came to the theater to see was replaced by a horror movie; add in an unnecessary amount of gore and poor writing; compound that with a villain the writers were somehow trying to make us think was the hero; and finish it off with the stupidest, most improbable, worst ending ever, that could yet guarantee some idiots defending it as a good ending just because it was the type of ending that doesn't happen often (the bad guy wins) and it equaled the worst movie I've ever seen. To find out they made five more and a video game depresses me because nothing about the first one was good. The bad guy won. Big deal! That's not enough to make five more movies where the bad guy keeps winning. And the story sucks. If you're killing people for no reason and you say "I have a reason" even though you don't, you're still killing people for no reason, and that's bad writing.

Second place goes to the 2003 version of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre with Jessica Biel. Ugh.

I don't really watch that many movies, but the Spirit was rather awful...Species the awakening (?) was on tv a while back, that looked pretty awful. Any excuse for female nudity and alien sex I guess.

The remake of The Wicker Man with The Cage: a 'horror' film so bad that some wag has made an entirely believable slapstick comedy trailer for it.

Masters of the Universe.

So bad I couldn't even finish watching it. Imagine a bad Star Wars rip off with He-Man.
Actually, He-Man has more in common with Jack Kirby's New Gods http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masters_of_the_Universe_(film)#Comparison_with_Jack_Kirby.27s_Fourth_World than Star Wars, but you're right, it still hasn't aged all that well and was only so-so at best to begin with.

As for the worst film I've ever seen, Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li by a mile.

As has been said: King Kong, 2001 Space Odyssey, Wicker Man

The Hulk was pretty abysmal. Talking about the first one, not the second one with Edward Norton. Haven't seen that one but it could be just as bad.

Prom Night sucked horribly. It wasn't even enjoyable to make fun of as a horror movie. It was just bad all around.

Aristocrats, a movie about a joke. I expected more comedy than was in the movie, and the joke itself was too tame and predictable.

You should definitely check out Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter, it's pure awesome.
What?

DUDE, TELL ME MORE!

Oh, that reminds me, I didn't like Grease, I felt it was horribly unaware of how steeped in it's immorality it was, and stuck like it was in a pubescent moral mess as much as it was steeped in an etc. intellectually, perpetuating stereotypes with no awareness as to what is was doing. I wouldn't say it was bad, just not good.

Every body has their own opinions. I liked the super mario brothers movie and still do. i love star trek ( reboot) wall e. you may disagree and that is your right to disagree

i respect that you have your opinion but just becasue i don't like every movie you do doesn't mean I'm brain damaged.
Watchmen for me was the worst, I've seen bad movies that have some redeeming qualities.
but there is nothing that would want me to see it again. ive read about it read about the comic and have no desire to read it. i know the story and it holds no interest perhaps not being American is part of it maybe not.

War Games: The movie that ruined Eagle Eye...
Eagle Eye was good?

Ah, I admit, I only hated the stupid-tacked-on happy ending.

If it'd ended with the last five-or-so minutes chopped off I might have liked it.

...Why do American movies do this? Babylon A.D. had the same problem.
