The cattle prod from Deus Ex.

*sneak up behind guard* INSTA KNOCK-OUT JAB!
*guard, conspicuously un-sleepy, turns round*
WHAT THE HELL, KILL THE FACIST!
*JC then wastes a whole clip of prod on the guard*
*picks up knife*
nuts to non-lethal, time to stab some prats!
*two-hit takedown, no ammo, woohoo!*

Deus Ex, silenced pistol. 900000000000 shots to kill someone, somewhat limited ammo. I was found in the end of the Hell's Kitchen level, where you have to infiltrate the compound at the end. Guess what I got stuck using? JC Denton, the great augmented warrior from Heaven, was bleeding profusely, crippled, legless, suffering from lead proficiency, armless on the ground. I managed to escape somehow.

Wait, the handbag from Dead Rising 2. It´s funny, but sucks.
My answer is this. And the coat hanger. And the spray paint. And the dinner plates, metal bat, gems, water gun, spitball gun, and a great big ET CETERA

That's kinda the point, but hit them enough with the gloves till they pass out then pull out your fire axe and wail on them

The survival knives from Resident Evil. If your life is in danger you're better off slitting your throat with it to avoid experiencing what it's like to be eaten.
The knife was actually useful in part 4!

Blunt weapons in an Elder Scrolls game if you specialize in swords of any kind.

It's just that swinging a mace is so fundamentally different from a sword. It's too bad Bethesda thought it wasn't realistic and removed it for Skyrim in favor of 1-handed skills and specialization in different kinds of weapons.

Maybe because boxing gloves are designed to cushion the fist's impact so boxing is safer?

Every weapon in Halo:CE that's not the pistol.
That's not true, the sniper rifle makes a pretty good melee weapon.

Captacha, I can't see through giant fucking tilde marks.

The Beam Rifle from Star Wars Battlefront II

This weapon is supposed to be a reward upgrade for the Sniper class, but the scope has a lower magnification, it takes twice as many shots to drop a target, and headshots do not 1-hit-kill, I mean what is the point in a sniper rifle that can't kill with a headshot? However, the single most incompetent feature is the fact that, being a BEAM Rifle, every shot you fire leaves a great glowing trace from your target back to your sniper nest, which persists for about three seconds after the shot is fired, and instantly attracting a hail of enemy fire to your position. Quite possibly, the most useless sniper rifle seen in a theatre of warfare.
I havent played Battlefront in forever but i don't remember having a problem with the Beam Rifle... Hmm maybe i should go play it again and find out.

Damn, ninja'd. However, the Bubble Gun was from EWJ2 ;)

Other than that I usually find basic fists pretty useless in most games.

Worst gun I've ever come across is also the most powerful.

The Experimental MIRV from Fallout 3. I mean...Its a shotgun filled with mini-nukes...What idiot thought that was a good idea? Its a long range mortar, you can't hit shit with it.

Shoot it straight, kill yourself, shoot up, miss. Loss loss situation. Unless you're aiming for a skyscraper.

So true...

Also, the binoculars in Fallout: NV (well, OK but it is in the weapons tab of the pip boy), as far as I can tell you can't manually zoom in and the sniper scope goes in closer.

The Worldslayer from Magic the gathering. Yeah. It kills everything. Including yourself. That makes for a pretty bad weapon. Oh, and the name might not be 100% correct, I don't remember the specifics. I just remember it killing everything.
When equipped creature deals combat damage to an opponent, destroy all permanents but Worldslayer, useless weapon indeed.

It felt as if I was playing Morrowind, missing all the time.
Really? It is accurate enough to reliably hit targets at 100m (330ft) and beyond. And combat distances rarely exceded that.

(Does this count as a hat trick?)

Some people seem to be criticizing my opinion, and hey, I understand their point, I mean no offense to anybody who actually likes this weapon.

I will say that the Gunblade looks dumb... and seems needlessly complicated gameplay-wise. Plus, why call it a Gunblade if it doesn't really function as a gun?

That's all I'm saying, people...
