What I want to know about Mass Effect 2 is if they're going to cut down on the dialogues where NPCs talk to you like brainy scholars from a university.
yer just push them out windows
Lol. Very good idea.

I just absolutely can't wait for this game. It's going to blow every other RPG out of the water.

Also: anyone think that bearded guy in the suit being helped by Shepard in the Normandy's destruction is Joker? Pause at 3:31.
Yes I think its joker.

OT, if it wasn't for the fact that I'd end up on the wrong side of the banhammer, I'd post endless pictures of "DO WANT" here.

This game looks fucking amazing.
My thoughts exactly.

Can't. Fucking. Wait.

Also I would like to added I think you get a black human companion If look just after he pushes they guy out the window looks who's next too him on the left. I hope there Baterians if you played the expansion to mass effect 1 you will understand. And just noticed how he says the focus is on the squad making me further feel that that Shepard will be replaceable in this installment or the next (possibly by the black guy?).

Well, at first, the "genius" of this escaped me. I mean, game protagnoists die in other games anyway, and on harder difficulties, potentially, many times! What, is this simply an extended cutscene or movie added to "YOU DIED, DOOD!", reload.

I understand, it's a cutscened death you stumbled into as a result of some bad choices. That was just my inital reaction.

Now, if Shepard died mid-game, and you continued the story playing from the worldview of one of his followers . . that would be *genius* . . and likely impossible to develop without making the game ten times bigger than it is already. Still, it'd be pretty cool to continue the fight as, say, Wrex or Liara (Shepard, who?).

Ah, pipe dreams

... Epic, seriously damn epic. Now I really need to finish Mass Effect a few times. I've been locked on FFX, writing and other things for too long.

His name is Jacob, a human biotic; I haven't played it yet, but both his backstory and Miranda's are covered in Mass Effect: Galaxies.
At least, I strongly think it's Jacob.

the only problem is that it sounds like it would be difficult to experience different aspects of the game. For example, in Fallout 3 it was sometimes humorous to see what would happen if you took a different route than the one you were attempting to get to the end result in a quest. I always played how I thought I'd normally react myself, but if the alternative was good or evil, I had to entertain that notion. So I'd reload and see what happens. If I don't have that option - or the only way to obtain these results were to replay the game - I'd be a little upset.

Not that any of this matters because I'm not a fan of Mass Effect. Nothing against it, just not my cup of tea.
The storyline telling method of mass effect is alot more linear but the dialog and decisions have greater effect.

It's actually an iPhone game. The first book cover Saren and Anderson prior to the events of Mass Effect, while the second covers a character from the first book and her dealings with Cerberus and the Flotilla.

Ok, that made me laugh.

As for their decision, I think it's nothing short of genius. What better way to make the player actually feel invested in the game and the character than to create the very genuine possibility of permanent death?

Of course, if my Joanna Shepard buys it, I am gonna be soooooo bent. So bent.
not only that, but the elevator that kills him will only have moved one inch vertically before Shepard dies

Wha-wa-wa-wa-whaaat?

I think this assassin looks pretty badass. Though I hate that BioWare is following the Star Wars tradition of creating new species of alien whenever they freaking feel like it. ("You silly, silly person! Those aliens were there the whole time! You just didn't see them before!")

Unless this assassin is like Hellboy, and he's just a turian who shaved his horns...
Well basically its the non council races this game so the other side of the galaxy map you had in the first game. And my problem is what looks badass and what makes a good assassin are rarely the same.
