Grom Hellscream - Warcraft
It would probably be a terrible idea since both Grom and Kratos just like to kill everything in sight, but they would prove effective killing machines and hopefully Cole could maybe keep them under control.

If we're actually supposed to die (i.e no persons who just can't die) this would be my list:

Iceman from Generation Kill
and last but not least: Ray Ray from Generation Kill. Too keep our spirits up.
If it was just some last stand thing where we would stand victorious i'd go with the following:
Kratos - sucker loves killing
Jason Voorhees - fucker won't die so i'll just stand behind him
Lara Croft - ***** can kill anything, especially innocent indigeous people, besides i'll need someone to fuck when i've put a bullet through Jason and Kratos' head for being total dirtbags

These teams come with very different strategies. Good guys would use wit and utility to save the day without unnecessary casualty. They'd be funny, likable, heroic, and likely bicker amongst themselves as to just what virtue is.
Explosions would explode things, a lot, the end.
All of them possess auto-win moves that drop all enemies to no health.
Kuja has Flare Star which deals damage proportional to enemies power making him the trump card if the enemies are actually more powerful (somehow)

The real King Leonidas from Sparta, the real guy was pretty bad-ass if only because he stayed behind with 300 Spartans and an assortment of other soldiers (the last stand consisted of about 1400 soldiers) to fight a seemigly limitless enemy while the remainder of their force retreated
Simo Häyhä, known as the White Death, he was a soldier in the Finnish army that had 505 confirmed sniper kills and a total of 705 confirmed kills, all of which he ammased in less than 100 days
