You are the last human on Earth. What now?

Find a couple of Dogs and train them to be my attack dogs/pets, learn how to use guns and also have a distress beacon going, just in case. If any bears or anything got too close to my home (a converted bingo parlour)i would just shoot them in the face. As for entertainment and stuff. Minecraft would keep me going and i have almost every Yogscast video on a flash drive. With out online multiplayer, i wouldn't use my consoles as much though. And i'd try to get every movie availiable to me in my house too. Also i'd keep a journal of sorts, simply just to keep me sane and to stop me questioning my own excistance. I would also develop an AI companion, Just as sombody to talk to besides the dogs. Then after doj g all i can to survive and such, i would just wait until the inevitable end...

TL;DR Version
Get Food
get stuff to do
write a journal
invent an AI
Die

Probably wander around bored for a while before inevitably committing suicide... as much as I hate people (which really is quite a lot!) I'd imagine a world without any people would be horrible.

Hmm With no legal constrictions myfirst move would be to finally realise a dream and go to Platt Fields park and finally catch and eat a swan guilt free.

I quite like my own company so think i wouldnt go stir crazy but as an avid horror fan I think the solitude would very quickly alter you're perception of being on your own.

Certainly wouldn't spend all day gaming mind. Why bother when you could create your own adventure I'd roam about taking sporty car after sporty car from dealerships travel through the channel tunnel and take my madness europe and into the east...hmmm tink i'd do that.

Find TV, diesel generator, and DVD or VCR, sit down, roll a smoke or three, and start watching this:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0089869/

Then think about surviving.

1 Moving far away from any industrial area just to be on the safe side, because everyone dissapearing suddenly with every machine still running could cause accidents like chemical fires.
2 Learn all about producing and keeping food the old-fashioned way before the next winter.
3 Find entertainment and things to do
4 Die anyway

What I'd do when im the last man on earth?
Have one last good scotch, a sunset and a good sandwich.
After that. Meh it's open to interpretation, probably won't see the sunrise.

I have spent a slightly embarrassing amount of time fantasizing about this.

A lot of people don't seem to realise that electricity wouldn't last long (I'm assuming everyone else on Earth just sort of blinked out of existence at once), so the internet and video games are out. Therefore I'd raid the local bookshops and libraries first, particularly books on horse care. Why horses? The roads are going to be clogged with abandoned vehicles, so a car is out. And even with a motorbike, getting fuel out of pumps after the power goes might be hard.

After that I'd go to a stable and release all the horses except the one I intend to use (which I would name Agro), then practice until I was reasonably confident. Once I reached that point? Adventure time! I've always wanted to travel the world, and what better time to do it than when canned food can be freely taken from shelves.

I live in Ireland, which isn't exactly conductive to getting to the rest of the world, so my first priority would be to get to England by robbing someone's yacht, then from there to France. The entirety of Europe and Asia would then lie before me. Along the way I'd try to gain some knowledge of making bows and hunting- that canned food is going to run out eventually.

I might eventually want to get to the Americas. Going across the Atlantic or Pacific would obviously be suicide, so I figure I'd learn some more advanced nautical skills and try to sail from Russia to Alaska across the Bering Strait.

Eventually I figure I'd find a nice little farmhouse somewhere fortify it against wild animals (which would of course multiply rapidly without humans) and learn to produce food for myself.

Man, writing this was fun. Someone needs to make a video game about this- present the player as the last person alive, throw in stats like hunger and thirst and let them go wild across an expansive, empty world. I would play the hell out of that.

I'm deployed in Afghanistan. There is NOTHING around here. I think my only option is to eventually drive/fly my way to the UK, where all the games and movies are at least in English.
One problem: Nobody to maintain the power companies. It's even odds they'll all fail inside of a couple months. No gas, no driving, no games, no movies, no refrigeration, no lights, no heating or air-conditioning, and no porn...
I will write a log of all my experiences as the last person alive in the vain hopes that some civilization sees it. I'll try to live off wild animals as long as I dare, but it's all leading rapidly towards the same conclusion: Suicide. And the human race becomes completely extinct, and the world keeps spinning.

On the other hand, if I were back home in Wisconsin when the shit went down... well, it'd be the same deal, except I'll have an extra couple weeks because I don't have to travel so much.

Probably create a base in someone's house using hundreds of acquired duvets, cushions, pillows and sofas, then fill it with plently of supplies (food, bottled water, gas canisters for the bbq etc.), grab a diesel generator and a load of diesel, and then kick back with a load of looted games. After a few weeks of that, get on my bike and explore the world.

After a few more weeks of that, suicide.

I would learn genetic engineering so that I could clone myself.

I would most likely do this to create a sexual partner, but certainly not for the sake of reproduction. I would be lonely.

Well I'd have lots of time on my hands, finally. Unfortunately without anyone around to operate to power plants I wouldn't be able to spend any of my new found free time playing video games. I suppose I could catch up on my reading though. Although without farms or grocery stores I would have to produce my own food, which would be pretty time consuming.

I'd probably go to the nearest port and hijack a yacht or maybe a cruise ship for a while, that might be fun, then I would find a nice mansion somewhere, set up a food garden and live out the rest of my days there, looting shops for all the material possessions I would have ever wanted.

Probably get as much stuff as I wanted, and then attempt to get out of Newfoundland, after that I would probably then just wander aimlessly for the rest of my days.

Prolly live out the last of my days like a badass. Go to the zoo and machete fight a rhino, ride a tiger, maybe even punch a baboon in the face. Construct a massive arena and make animals gladiator fight each other to the death, tape monkeys atop tigers, give them armor and small monkey swords, or even put whirling blades of death onto cars and place bricks on the gas pedals before tapeing dogs or cats to the steering wheels and letting them go nuts in the arena. Build a massive monument of myself pelvus thrusting at the sky with a sign that reads "No Aliens Will Ever Be As Awesome As Me!". Take control of a Nuclear launch site and launch nukes around the world in the pattern of a giant dong. Or even see how many priceless works of art I can defile with crude dong sketchs atop them. Heck! I could even just tunnel to the center of the earth with my massive drilling machine and become king of the Mole People!

(In-case you're wondering...yes...I am this awesome all the time)

I would go walking, and slowly make my way across England, mapping out it's every little corner in my mind. I can comfortably walk far enough that I can find a new dwelling each day, and there's tinned food in every home. I'll probably die before I run out of food.

And If I get bored, I'll rig up a little boat and invade France!

You could just steal fuel from other cars and use only secondary roads. It also depends on the time of day how great the carnage on the mways will be. But I suppose horses is nice if you like horses.

Most of this is good, but I'd pick up rifles and ammo, instead of trying to learn archery.
