Your favorite alcoholic beverage

I'm more of a beer guy.

I like mostly dark beers like Porters and Stouts (and the occasional Guinness Draught when the budget allows it).

But I also like some Lagers like the 1795 Budějovické Pivo.

And the Kaiserdom Kellerbier (cellar beer) unfiltriert is good too.

Leffe Brune is also a very good beer.

Brilliant summer day drink; Fireball whiskey with dry ginger ale & a slice of lime., with two ice cubes. Wonderfully refreshing, incredibly tasty.

Of course, I'm a functional alcoholic, so I will drink whatever you put in front of me up to and including paint thinner. I just prefer a good cider.

OT: I can love basically any lager or pale ale. I tend to only drink guinness on tap from a pub.

Then I'm also a fan of Jaigerbombs. And I like doing shots.

Basically, I'll drink everything.

Given a choice, I'd probably pick Brahma Brazilian lager.

Sounds like a cement mixer (Bailey's and Lime Juice). The ultimate joke drink, it you don't vomit when you drink it, you will later. That's a promise. I do not EVER recommend doing it to someone, unless you really REALLY hate that person.

Why would anyone spoil someone's good time like that, even if they hate them? Damn, that would be a shitty night.

I've never tried it myself but from what I've heard, it's pretty gross. They probably didn't drink it properly though. It would probably taste better if you wore a Viking helmet and a fake beard while drinking.

Why a fake beard? Go the whole nine yards and grow a beard on the spot while you forge a helmet of your own from raw ores and the skulls of your enemies. You need something to drink it out of after all!

This goes for the ladies as well. Beard growing isn't optional, but they're doing it consciously, so it doesn't have to stick around, haha.

Ale (Specifically Badger ale's Golden Glory, and Bateman's Dark Lord)
Amaretto (Neat or with coke)

But mostly Guinness! I will drink almost anything though, save Tequila, but the above are my preferred!

I also drink far too much Port... so much binge drinking on it that the thought now makes me feel sick...! :/

Thinking about vodka has made me feel queasy ever since it hospitalized me.

Basically, I was at an outdoor party, and I brought a full bottle of smirnoff. I don't remember getting past the label, but apparently I guzzled nearly all 750ml before succumbing to alcohol poisoning and blacking out.

on top of this, I had smoked a small amount of pot, I had missed two meals, and I had taken a piriton allergy tablet.

My dad will attest that having taken piriton, one's vulnerability to alcohol skyrockets. Enough that three lagers floored him under the stuff.

So, I think I did well.

I find that odd, personally. It's very rare to see a chav drinking cider where I come from (Southern England) because the chav culture has such a lager-lout feel to it. They're much more likely to be on the Fosters or some other tasteless lagery piss because it's what they "should" drink. I've had chavs have a go at me before for drinking cider, because it's fruit-flavoured and therefore a girl's drink.

Even when I blacked out in the above incident, I have never thrown up due to alcohol.

Not being a drinker of it, you've probably not noticed, but Strongbow is no cheaper than (or often a tiny bit more expensive than) the average lager. In a pub, it's roughly the same for a pint, the same as in cans. The 2-litre thing is only different because you don't tend to get lager that way, but the price is still equivalent for the amount.

The cheap stuff, White Lightning and Frosty Jack and so on, the really nasty 7.5% stuff does come in at much lower prices than your average lager/Strongbow, and I've seen some chavs drinking that, but it seems to be much more of a tipple for the serious alcoholic or tramps.

Well, round here at least, the two liter bottles go for about three quid.

Depends. Just for a small drink a good pure whiskey is really nice but if it's for drinking in large quantities some coke in it helps a lot.

I do also like the West Fleteren beer, very rare and expensive but damn awesome.

Gin tonic is also nice for drinking in large quantities.

Uggh, never been a tramp or a chav. What I have been though is young, stupid and a broke student, drinking that stuff has never gone well for me and these day I can't touch the stuff thank God. I'm sure that that "cider" has never even seen an apple, I'm sure its basically a bunch of chemicals thrown together to sterilise the undesirables that drink it.

My favourite drink is beer, or rather real ales. My favourites being Hobgoblin, Marstons Old Empire and Holts Maplemoon.
