1.Hmm... I'm gonna say Dragonball... but Project A-Ko, Robot Carnival, Samurai Pizza Cats, Gundam, Voltron, Speed Racer, etc. are all things I've watched around that time, as well.
2.TV
3.Yeah, I liked it. You know, being a young'un and all.

1) Speed Racer
2) It was on TV at the time (early 90s)
3) The show did get me into anime (and motivate me to learn to drive stick) but I just lost interest in anime in general right around my freshman year of college.

1) Not including dbz, yu-gi-oh, digimon, pokemon an cardcaptor's because when i watched them they were just cartoon's on cartoon network so i had no idea what anime was. so the first one i watched was bleach.

2) I was on a school holiday and noone was going out, so i had nothng to do then i went on the internet and i just clicked on a fight scene for bleach by random and i was hooked.

3) Yea when i watched all the english episodes of bleach, then i went onto naruto which i did'nt like much but i started to watch death note, and that was so amazingly written i started to read the manga for it. now i do not watch anime much but i am loving manga.

Well ignoring sailor moon back when i was like 5 (they showed that at like 3pm in germany) because i cant actually remember it. Also going to ignore Yugioh because that was just a cartoon to me back in the day.
#1 Therefore my first was Witchblade.
#2 Well i had previously read the comics when i was younger, so I decided to watch this. That and a couple of my friends watched anime, and suggested i start watching it.
#3 Yes, after that I asked my friend to recommend some anime. Also previously i was told about Hellsing, so that's the next thing i watched. Then Love Hina. This was just over a year ago, and I am ashamed to say that since then I have watched 14 days worth of anime. A lot of good stuff, all slotted around college. It's also been atleast 200GB of data that i have downloaded.

I watched the final episode of Blue Submarine No. 6 when it aired on Cartoon Network. I was seven. Verg scared the crap outta me then, but I bought the full series a year ago and now Verg is my favorite character.

I didn't even know what anime was at the time. I was eleven when I got a How to Draw Manga book and started watching Inuyasha. It all went downhill from there.

1. Though I should say things like Digimon or pokemon I will say YuYu Hakusho, Cyborg 009, DBZ.
2. Toonami was awesome and anything on was good at the most part so I watched and I was easily sucked in.
3. Yes but I never knew it was anime before we had internet so I would think they we're cartoons from America but many stations have a bad habit of ending the anime you like when it gets close to coming to closure but I still watch it.
I really wish we could have One Piece back but I'll just watch it with subtitles for now
why?!?!?!?! why do they never finish the series?!?! why?!?!?! i also miss toonami and 1 piece but my first one was pokemon (the new shows are CRAP!!!!!)

1. FLCL

2. I was watching adult swim and it came on out of the blue.

3. At the time I found the story interesting, albeit insane, but I didn't know at the time that it was a whole genre. Then I discovered Death Note a few years later and was hooked.

Though I did not know they were (based from) anime at the time, an odd sci-fi thing called Tranzor Z.

The first anime I watched knowning what anime was had a name like Bionic Boosted Armour Suit Guyvar. Something like that, anyway. Was a long time ago though, and my memory is a bit fuzzy.

Outlaw Star was my first anime. I gleefully remember staying up past midnight week after week when I was twelve, so I could watch the continuing adventures of: Gene Starwind, Jim Hawkins, and the rest of the crew, whilst they searched for the Galactic Leyline; in a ship with a big 'ol sign that read: No Whiny Emos Or Giant Robots Allowed. Kudos to whoever knows what anime the sign's talking about.

P.S. The ships had arms that could punch other ships, and wield guns and swords. That's just frickin' awesome.

1. Dragonball Z (at least I think it was Z).
2. I just found it when I watched TV one day.
3. No because at that time I didn't know it was anime. I thought it was just another cartoon. A few years later I was really introduced to anime by That Dude In The Suede and now I watch some episodes of animes from time to time.
