I have many things that others may consider "guilty pleasures", such as musically I love Van Morrison - I think the guy is a genius - but I don't think of it as something to be ashamed about because I'm open about it - even though it's not at all like the music I listen to most of the time (or around friends, for that matter), though when questioned I'll answer truthfully. I may not go around spreading the word of certain things but like I say when asked I'll always answer as that's what makes me me. I've always held the opinion that there's no reason to hide a secret as such because if someone else doesn't share the same view then they can either continue being a friend or if not then it's not my loss - life's too short to be ashamed of who you are.
Argh... My girlfriend's mum loves Van Morrison. She worships his music.

It's just... all the same. It's ringy guitar chords with a low voice repeating the same words over and over. His habit of off-timingly repeating his last line 5 times on the same sequence of chords really grates me.

It just seems awful music to me...

*pant* *pant* Ah, good. Got that off my chest.

Another guilty pleasure i have is that i'm rather obsessed with Doctor Who.
Like, you could ask me most things about it, and i'd be able to give you some sort of answer.
I only know one other person who is like me, but everybody else thinks we're wierdo's

I have quite a few guilty pleasures, but the one I'm goin' to tell ya is WAAAY dirty, so remember to wear rubber gloves for this one, here it goes:

my biggest guilty pleasure is experiencing myself an evening drinking some fine beer, having a couple pretzels along with it, and playing Mario Hotel on my old Phillips CDi

excuse me now, I gotta go take a shower as soon as possible

My guilty pleasure is to a certain degree manipulation.

I am not really GOOD at it, but it gives me so much of a "feel good" ... feeling.

For instance, I'm in my third year of highschool, in the first 2 years and a half I've dumped ALL of my work and homeworks into one of my friends, who has absolutely no social life. And I became the boyfriend of my math teacher daughter, so she gave me an A+, but this happened while I had ANOTHER girlfriend, and they were in the same classroom. Fun stuff.

It just gives me so much of a rush to.. be that much in control.

I really really really like to have a cup of coffee and maybe a cinnamon bun. Like really.

It's like, I get all happy inside when it is time to coffee break and sit down. But maybe it is just me who thinks I'm acting gay. Which I am not. Not because there is something wrong with that. But I like women. And tits.
Um...I dont see how loving coffee and a cinnamon bun can make people think your gay...

Each to their own I guess. I dunno, that type of music doesn't really appeal to me normally but there is something about his songs that I really like. For the most part I listen to some punk rock and a lot of kiwi and pacific island inspired reggae - I've been living in N.Z. for the last 7 months and in 3 weeks I'm going back for... well as long as I possibly can - but when it comes to Van Morrison songs like Madame George and for that matter any other you care to mention it really hits the spot. I just find it good music to relax to.

I like lying. Not lying down, but not telling the truth. I've become so good at it it's impossible to tell whether I'm lying right now. Or is it? 0_o

I can't think of anything else I feel guilty about. ^^

Making people laugh. And getting packages, I don't know why, but I'm always tracking my packages and I get a certain satisfaction when they arrive. I can only describe it as:

FINALLY! YES! WHA! ALRIGHT!
That is so similar to me. Theres something about receiving a package that makes me feel so good :p
I wouldn't call making people laugh one of my guilty pleasures though, i do that all the time, and i'm good at it xD
I make people laugh all the time too, I just love it so much... I sorta feel guilty about it.

I don't know if this is a "guilty" pleasure but it sure is a weird one. I like to pretend I have no idea what is going on and to have people get angry at me for it. I once pretended I didn't know who Justin Bieber was for several months this year.
