I wanted to dress up as Arkham City's Riddler a little bit. I ate some candy, had some pizza, and visited my grandparents. I was very sleepy the entire night. Now I wake up with a dilemma, do I buy the ZOE Collectors Edition with artbook and soundtrack? Or do I buy a Jehuty statue/action figure?

I played AC3 (so not very scary :p) for a bit, and was slightly amused and pleased to notice they got into the spirit with one of the in-game emails at the start including a brief Happy Halloween message (just inside a more important subject email) from Shaun - then at 8.30pm, I packed up and drove to my nearest Odeon to see Silent Hill Revelation, in glorious 3D! And guess what.

It was FREAKING AWESOME! Yes, I did enjopy the film greatly, and I may even write a fanfiction based on the ending if I can be bothered to think up a proper story for it... :D

Cancelled thanks to Sandy.

Thankfully even two foot of snow could not cancel the Halloween spirit

Nothing happened, due to the lousy weather. I wasn't even able to go to the Halloween party I wanted to!

...Well, it wasn't a bad night, just not a good Halloween night.

Zombie walk two days before Halloween, I decked myself out in every bit of paramilitary looking gear I had at my disposal (a lot) and went as a zombie hunter. I got some truly epic pictures, drank with my friends, hooked up with a stunning, very nerdy girl from Montana :)D), went back to the house to discard my guns then went right back out in full kit again. Hell of a night.

The actual night of Halloween was... complicated. Found that said girl from Montana is only in the country for about 6 more days, and will be in Iceland for a week before that, had to go to a house party without getting to an off licence first, and at the party I had to turn down another extremely good looking girl who actually lives here long term because while I'll likely only meet the first girl one more time and nothing will come of it, I could not in all good conciousness go home with someone else before that. Ugh, bad times...
Also, I went as Nathan Drake to that party, so, there was that. Don't have a picture yet.

Come to think of it, there was an interesting moment where I saw a bunch of kids trick or treating in a local shop. I lived out in the sticks until recently so I've never seen that before.:) Guy behind the counter wouldn't give them anything and they looked pretty crestfallen, so I bought a packet of Oreos and handed those out to them.

I slept from roughly 1-pm until a quarter til 9-pm, ate a burger from Wendys someone was kind enough to have bought me then some chili since I was planning on having it anyway. Then from 10:30 until roughly 6:45 this morning I was working. Before sleeping on the morning of Halloween though I played Final Fantasy VIII and watched/listened to Zero Punctuation on youtube. I don't remember the last time I actually celebrated Halloween...damned circumstance...Also I got massive blue-balls since my store has a Wii-U set up but it doesn't have a single playable demo.

Also-Also one of my close friends got engaged. It wasn't something I did obviously but it made for a happy time on one of my breaks.

I worked. And it was terrible. Not just "Ahh man, I have to work on Halloween" terrible.

It was "There is a God, and he hates my fucking guts" terrible.
Someone else says this? Be my brother in blasphemy. My other favourite upon great success is "There is a God, and I banged his mum."-Usually upon sinking an awesome 8-ball shot (Cause I'm terrible at 8-ball),

Where did you get that scarf thing? Looks like one of those "gone native" type scarves/keffeyeh type things in lots of military series'. I keep seeing them and I want one, but I'm not sure what to search for.

Spent my night watching 1000 Ways to Die and playing ME3 multiplayer.

I was gonna give out candy to passersby (hell, I even had a decorated pumpkin outside my door to tell people I was willing to give candy), but no one knocked on my door. Oh well, more lollipops and chocolate stuff for me!

Got to see a bunch of Australians whinging about Halloween on the internet because:

-It'll make kids fat.
-Because it's American, and Americans are stupid ignorant racist rednecks, and we should ignore everything from America because 'Murica is a thing.
-Because it's apparently tragic that it's happening, and shame on those children having fun.
Really? I live here and I don't hear that from my fellow Aussies. Maybe I just know less grumpy people or something. I do know that not much happens here as its never been a cultural tradition here as it has been in the US, when I was a kid growing up all I knew about halloween was what I saw in American movies or TV shows. Over maybe the last decade or so its kind of become bigger here and you can get a lot of halloween themed stuff in stores, people I know even have parties when it falls on a weekend, though it seems to be less about candy and more about an excuse to drink too much. No trick or treating though, its not forbidden or anything like that, just something that's never really taken off here

My girlfriend of 4 and a half years dumped me less than a week ago for no discernible reason.

So, nothing really. No trick or treaters either since I live in an apartment building.

My Halloween was fantastic, I went to the release of Assassin's Creed III dressed as Slenderman (or not so slenderman if you could have seen the costume *cough*). Then I had a scary movie marathon with my girlfriend, we had a popcorn bowl full of Halloween candy.

I was meant to go to the pub with one of my friends, but he had a headache, so I figured I would go to D&D on a wednesday as usual. But my brother threw out my character sheets because he said I shouldn't play Dungeons and Dragons because I'm 18 and that I should grow up and not be such a ******. I was just gonna go anyway and pick a pre gen character, but my family came and my adorable little cousin wanted me to carve him a pumpkin, so I figured I would since I had enough time. But then I got brow beat into scooping the shit out of another pumpkin for someone else to carve as a "punishment" of sorts. So the second I was done I got the train into town. I was too late anyway because I was scooping out the pumpkins, so I just spent half an hour sitting on a bus bench trying to calm myself down, then got the train back. So I didn't have a good one.

Its called a shemagh, as far as I know. I got it in a specialised airsoft shop at the arena where my team plays (I have a ragged green and black one that I use for games, but this one looked better). I just checked, and you can get them on Amazon as well. A whole lot cheaper than what I paid as well, thanks to the pirate who runs that place.

You probably know less grumpy people. I know some vocally anti-American people who get their disgust with US foreign policy mixed up with the American people, and end up acting like nationalists of the worst sort in pure ignorance. They take those Chaser sections about "Stupid Americans" as being representative of America.

I've had a pretty similar experience with halloween. I want to do a stupid dress up party and get drunk, watch crappy horror movies. The amount of whinging I saw about trick or treating, and the lack of anyone actually saying it was happening was remarkable. I've never seen a trick or treater, or had a door knock from one. It's probably made me come across as bitter as they do. But all I want is a holiday that'd actually be fun for me. They can keep their Christmas's and Easter, all I want is a holiday where I get drunk and dress up with friends.
