Ok, this is a simple idea I got from looking at a shirt. As we know most video games have level requirements for items. So the question I am asking is what would be the minimum required level to wear your clothes and to have the items that you keep on your person? Please back up your answers with a reason. Let?s assume the level cap is 100.

IL gives an example to start things off.

I think that the minimum required level to wear what I?m wearing is 7. That is because I just have jeans and a tee shirt. But to hold the items I have the level requirement would be 40 because I have a nice watch and an IPhone.

Boxers - Level 1. Starting gear.
Pants - Level 3. The jeans have a hole in them. I badly need a new pair of jeans.
Shirt - Level 5. Basic black t-shirt.
Shoes - Level 43. Good, solid quality walking shoes. Built to last, nice looking. Have some special inserts as well, so consider them socketed.
Wrist Guards - Level 51. + resistance against repetitive stress injury.
Sunglasses - Level 64.

Boxers: Lvl 1 human male starting gear
Shirt: Lvl 1 deadhead class starting gear (borrowed from girlfriend)
Socks: Lvl 1 human male starting gear
Pants: Lvl 2 tutorial completion gear sweatpants
Glasses: Lvl 46 hipster prestige class gear +12 perception glasses (requires at least 25 lvls in the hipster prestige class)
Shoes: Lvl 55 boots of resist everything

While most of my stuff is fairly low-level starting gear my enhanced perception and resistance to everything give me a huge boost and make me amazing as a scout.

Boxers of the owl(uncommon)
25 defense
+4 spirit
+6 intellect
requires level 10 to equip

Tattered Trousers of knowledge(uncommon)
43 defense
+6 intellect
+3 critical strike rating
requires level 12 to equip

Black T-shirt of the Power Glove (rare)
description: a 'Power Glove' band shirt with an emblem at the front, it pulses with power and epicness
60 defense
+20 spell power
+10 stamina
requires level 15 to equip

Mouse of Seering Mana (rare)
main hand
40-56 damage
1.2 speed
+15 spell power
+10 intellect
+10 mana regen per second
requires level 14 to equip

This is my current gear; I'm a bit of a noob, but it's pretty nice spell casting gear for leveling.

level 10-20 seems about right for casual clothing... I'd think level 1 would be like diapers and baby clothes, wouldn't it?

I think my highest-level item of clothing would be my N7 hoodie. 'tis pretty awesome but I'm not sure what level value I could ascribe to it.

Judging by how covered up I am, I'd say for a female character all this is level 1. Considering the inverse relationship between level and coverage for female characters in games.

EDIT: Why are so many of you wearing sunglasses while on a computer? Turn the brightness down.

Everything level 1, seeing as I'm a background character. And since I could buy and wear just about anything, everything in the world is level 1!

Okay, yeah, that's kind of being a spoilsport.
