Yea this is a pretty safe-zone name, I'm sure people call you just good ol' "Spence" too, at least I would.

I had a friend in college named Kai, we associated him with being God of Super Smash Brothers Melee, because he was ridiculously good at the game, and a body builder. I don't mess with Kai's.

Interesting so you're essentially Jack the John, er well that came out inappropriate! anyways I love your avatar! I'm guessing its from The Daily Show or Colbert Report?

In your case your middle name is the badass part, Mr. Wayne!

(I'm slowly working my way down my own thread, I'll get to some of you eventually!)

Cody is a shitty name; my mum should've named me Artemis.
Despite what Eoin Colfer would have you believe, Artemis is a girls name.
Actually, Artemis is a unisex name.

OT: I'm Allan. It's pretty uncommon where I live. Plus, most people can't pronounce it to save to save their lives.

First name Joseph. Last name Smith. I prefer to be called Joe, therefore I am Joe Smith.

Most. Generic. Name. Ever...and I am fine with that. It is ironic given my personality can be almost classified as insanity in the best of times.

My name's Rory, which is fairly common for both genders.

However, I did learn my name means "ruler", so that means I am destined to rule?

My dad did want to name me Rufus, which in hindsight is much better.

No I am not a girl.

Ashley is manly name for manly men, just ask my good friend Mr. Williams.

Boomstick indeed, Mr. Williams.

Boomstick indeed.
My name is also Ashley,
and I am of the manliest of men, except that I'm a women, and not actually all that manly.
But I agree, many great people/things have been named Ashley.

I don't care for my name, Corey. For whatever reason it still feels odd when I say my name out loud, you'd think I'd be used to it in my 25 years of life.

Not going to say my last name but my middle name is Logan. My first name I absolutely hate and got it from my father because of the whole tradition bullcrap that rages through my family. My mother (who is white) wanted me to have a fairly unique name so that's where Logan came from.

In a area where everybody is full hispanic (or half like myself) seeing someone named Logan is quite rare. I have a mexican last name so it might sound a bit awkward but I've grown to like it.

Oh and no one forgets my name with it being so unique where I live.

Nels. Just... Nels. Not Nelson... Nels. However it is a cousin of that name as well as Nils, Neils, and so forth. All of them originate in the Scandinavian area.

I like it.

Both my first and middle name are from my family. My real name is Katherine, but that was a pain for young me to write out. I'm usually Katie in person but with a couple people and on the internet I usually go with Kate. People in high school called me by my last name though, that was annoying since my last name really sucks. Same with the nickname Kitty. I am not a cat. I do not look like a cat. I do not like cats. Do not call me a cat.

I don't mind my name, Spencer. I have no nickname except the occasional "Spency-Poo" or "Spency-Wency" from joking friends and hot babes alike. I always wanted some sort of ballin' nickname that I would be recognized by.. Oh well, maybe someday.
Spencer is my favorite boys name X3. Me liking your name makes you awesome. Congratulations!
Really? I always thought it was kind of dorky sounding, thanks for making me feel super cool!

And you ARE super cool! The Pony doesn't leave anyone going by her favorite male name in the uncool bin! Unfortunately I know nobody with the name, it's pretty uncommon in Norway (I have never met a single person with that name IRL..).

Samantha. Most everyone calls me Sam, which I prefer. Sammie/Sammy when I'm being poked fun at or kids call me that. Hammy Sammy when I was a kid, mostly by family, but not anymore. Mostly because I'd call them something much worse in response.

Anytime someone says Samantha I think I'm in trouble. Even at my age.

Wow, we sure do love having name threads here.

OT, I'm Igor.

It's slavic name that came from Old scandinavian Yngvar (Proto-norse I think), that means the warrior/defender of Ing.
So yeah, I am content with it. Also, I share my name with the first conqueror of Kievan Rus Igor, son of Rurik- So that's awesome too.

My name's Brian. Its also the name of at least 20% of the people living in my city, so it seems. At least five of whom have their names on the 'weird wall' in my house. I also look like about another 20% of the population.

The name isn't great. There's very little you can do with it in terms of nicknames. And my last name is a single boring syllable, so I couldn't even be known by that, or work it into a nickname!:/

A decent few of my female friends have pet names for me, but there's even less chance of me posting those here than there is that I'd post my last name.
