got bored the other day and decided to make my own code of humanity a little like the ten commandments only different they are as follows
1.Do not kill
2.Do not steal
3.Do not bear false witness
4.Do not force your beliefs on others
5.Don't be a jackass
6.Don't break the law
7.Attempted to see all men and women as equals no matter what
8.Avoid being baisd
9.Do not place a judgement without first conferming evidence

so I ask you what are yours
note: they can be whatever and however many you want

Don't fuck with me and everything will be fine.

In all seriousness, my list would probably be very similar to yours with the addition of "Never assume anything without probable cause"

1. No killing, unless told to by my country's officials.
2. No thieving.
3. I respect people until they've given me good reason not to.
4. Asshattery is allowed if needed. (i.e. someone pushing beliefs on others, such as PETA supporters and uber Christians.)

The ones without going into paragraph 7, subsection 5, variant Alpha, protocol Beta...

When in doubt, do things the hard way, it's usually also the right way.

It complicates things in life, but it makes me feel alot better about it.

Don't got one, don't see a need.

It helps to be flexible, and all the laws have flaws. Either way, of course I wouldn't want the world to be fair, if it was, it would be a complete shithole, especially for me.

Do whatever you want, you're the only one who owns yourself.

That means, yes, you're free to go out and shoot up strangers if you want. But you gotta consider that there will be millions in your own country alone who wouldn't agree with ya, and that will get you in jail or killed. But as long as you're aware of those circumstances and still want to do it, who am I to tell you what to do? Go for it, just don't expect to escape afterward.

That's about it. Be responsible for your actions, because I'm sick of people whining and blaming their own problems on unrelated things. I'm absolutely cool with you doing crack, but don't come back and whine to me when you get addicted and die. You've made your choice, and you're responsible for yourself. So, uh, familiarize yourself with all the factors before you make your choice - if you're okay with all the negatives, proceed. If you're not, don't try to sugar coat them.

Laws are just tools that usually tend to help you keep a society intact. Nothing more, nothing less. A lot of those laws are bloody stupid. And that's why I dislike the so called "lawful" alignment. Laws aren't forever. Laws are something one can and should be able to change whenever they aren't beneficial. If you adhere to some kind of "lawful" alignment, you better follow every law including ones that are absolutely retarded and based on idiotic ideas, just because they are laws. Fuck that.

You are responsible for all your decisions, and you're the only one who owns yourself.
(unless we go really into really deep sciencey stuff and discover that we don't have frewill, which is always a possibility) There is no big brother, no god, no devil, or any other weak excuse you can blame for your decisions.

That's about it.

Mine would be pretty much the same as yours.
I would change do not kill to do not kill without justifiable cause.
I would also add Stargate is compulsory viewing

1) Show your respect at all times, although you might not completely understand.
2) Hate hurts you more than the person being hated. Avoid at all cost.
3) At all times, try to be at your best manners.
4) Talking, eating and laughing can be a pain in the ass if you're obnoxious enough. Keep a close eye on your own actions.
5) Do not steal anything in any form; emotional, financial, organic and mechanical theft is grave.
6) Don't Fear The Reaper!

7) Something...
8) Profit. $$$$$$

Pretty much the same as OP's, dam you for taking most of the options.
1. Do not kill or intentionally harm another
2. Do not steal
3. Do everything for the advancement of humanity, unless this act conflicts with any other commandment.
4. Obey the laws of your nation and/or region, unless these conflict with any other commandment.
5. Equality for all, age will still serve as the only restriction.
6. Let ones beliefs not be forced upon others
7. (OP's) Do not place judgement before confirming evidence
8. Free speech under any topic, restriction to content due to age is permitted.
9. (Ninth commandment) Do not bear false witness to your (to thy) neighbour

No doubt they could use some work.

1. Live life for yourself.
2. No mind-altering substances.
3. Do not allow others to get inside your mind.
4. Value sanity above most else.
