Here is my problem,
I cannot find suitable employment. I have been looking for better employment for over a year now and even after countless applications, resumes, cover letters(crafted personally, by friends and family, and paid services) I have not even landed one interview EXCEPT the current job I have working for AT&T as a Sales Support Rep.
I have a B.A. in History and would like to become employed as an archivist or curator, preferably dealing with video and audio. Another career would be to work for a video game show or website because one of my other passions is video games and maybe combine my love of history with video games. Another passion of mine would be to attain my pilot's license or study the human eye to allow eyesight transfers.I know the latter two would require me to go back to school and I would not mind that at all because I know this would mean I would also be eligible for more internships.
I really do not know what to do or what steps I should take to even get the chance to become employed because most college grads I know are being forced to move back in with their parents and are making less than 20k a year(I know about 50 graduates who are in the same situation I am in). I know HIGH school graduates that are making more than that, but college students in the U.S. are getting boned when it comes to career opprotunities now.
So what do I need to do to become employed allowing me to move out of my parents place and become self-sufficient?
EDIT
To help some people here with time management or find there is just too much to do in their life I would recommend heading to this link from Carnegie Mellon University by the late Randy Pausch. He provides some great lectures.

If you have some time this is his big lecture, also very nice considering it was his LAST LECTURE.
