My name comes from a struggle from within, conquering crushing depression and coming out the other side. By this I mean that this was the name of my first D&D character. The half red dragon half drow that kicked everyones asses.

The d is a surname that is actually not pronounced (so its not da-kyros its just kyros). The surname is a mysterious word that starts with d. Kyros was a mix between my real name and the word zero. (10 virtual dollars to the first person to guess my real name).

It's the name of the 13th Stellazio coin in Final Fantasy 9. Or it's that obscure zodiac sign that everyone started going on about a few months ago. Take your pick.

[sub](Hint: it's the FF9 thing.)[/sub]

I either go by Rano,my long held RPG name from Neverwinter Nights (that i transferred to WoW), or Xan, a shortening of my name and a very old username from when i was a kid (not to mention Baldur's Gate and Unreal Tournament that totally copied it from me)

A play on the debut album of the melodic thrash death metal band Darkane.

The album was titled Rusted Angel so I slaved away for months before coming up with Custard Angel as an alternative.

I laughed like a mad man for about 2 seconds then just decided to go with it.

Thing is, I don't actually like the album, nor the band, that much. The band has some real high points, and I definitely don't hate them, but I probably wouldn't rate them on a list of my 10 favourite bands. Probably not top 20 either.

Definitely top 50 though. I'll give them that at least.

Mine is a somewhat long story. When I was about 13, I went to this youth club and, being the dork that I am, no-one remembered my name. At the time I could do a pretty good rendition of the 'Do you know the Muffin Man?' scene from Shrek, which was seemingly the first time that anyone noticed me, so I was referred to as the Muffin Man from then on.

The 'Master' bit comes up because I joined the Star Wars forums and 'MuffinMan' was taken, so my 15-year-old self thought it wouldn't be at all lame to Jedi-fy my screen name. It was also taken on the Escapist forums, so I figured I might as well be consistent.

I got my name from my (ex)girlfriend's description of me: Warm, comfy and occasionally smelly.
Couldn't think of anything else, so why not?

The first thing I ever did on the Internet besides aimlessly surfing for random information, was to buy a rare, old game (Koudelka) on eBay. I figured I might want to use eBay again some day, but I wasn't sure how long it would be until next time. So, I needed a username I knew I wouldn't forget.

It works so well, I decided to use it here too.

I'm a diagnosed schizophrenic. But with 'SchizoBoy', everyone mispronounced it in my earlier gaming days, so put a 'k' in. The 'Boy', well kinda obvious when it started, but now, because I have the mental age/intelligence/maturity of a 16yo.
