If Half-Life 3 or Bloodborne remastered or Bloodborne actually came out, they would undersell.
These supposedly most-wanted games are more memes then actual potential games, and it's gamer culture with it head up its ass. It's been way too long for anyone but a small cadre of supposed fans to legit care about at this point.

I understand how important Half-Life was and influential and I'm not taking anything away from that but good lord this was like 20 years ago? Why should anyone under 30 care about Half-Life?
I know Elden Ring is the GREATEST THING EVER and I personally obviously adored Bloodborne but the latter was and always would be a PlayStation exclusive. If Demons Souls hasn't left Sony's grip, Bloodborne won't. That makes it not in the same commercial world of the other FromSoftware games.

I was just really struck by this supposed rumor that Half-Life 3 would be announced at the Game Awards. And they did announce a number of other surprise franchise revivals (Turak, Onimusha, Okami) but folks just gotta let stuff go already. It's not cute or funny anymore to cry "Half-Life 3" and "port Bloodborne to PC!" every gaming showcase.

(Honestly just buy a cheap used PS4 on ebay to play Bloodborne then re-sell/donate it).

^ Pretty sure as long as it didn’t release within a three month window of something like GTA6 that Half-Life 3 would go gangbusters. They’d need a clever marketing campaign for the younger crowd, but everyone else who’s played the series that still games would be like -

I stopped caring for the HL3 jokes by 2012. There are fans doing a 60 fps mod on PS5/"PC port" for Bloodborne. So the other's begging for a remaster will have to take what they can get.

You're screaming at a storm, @Old_Hunter_77. They can't hear you nor do they can't listen and reason. I'm not making excuses for them, but there's no point shouting at these people. At some point they're gonna have to give up the ghost and just move on to something else. I tend to ignore both crowds either way.

You getting Antonblast, BTW? I'll be taking that up later today. It looks to be the best Wario Land game ever made.

It looks very cool but it's just totally not what I'm about right now- so loud and angry. I'm looking for the chiller Neva-style stuff

Ever play Tetris Effect? The game is pretty chill and it still gets updates. The multiplayer is pretty fun too, if your wife ever wants to play.

I don't like a majority of Tengo Project's revival of old Taito games. I appreciate the effort and visuals that went into these pixels, but they always do these bad/weird game design decisions that either makes the game a chore to play or makes them less fun than their original versions. The only exceptions are Ninja Warriors Once Again and Shadow of the Ninja Reborn. Even then, Once Again removed scoring and Reborn has this dumb way of continuing the last stage by quitting the game. There is no auto save, unless you literally quit to the main menu. Wild Guns Reloaded locking levels behind difficulty modes (the original SNES game does not do this at all). Pocky and Rocky Reshrined doesn't let you select any characters freely, until you've beaten the game.
