If Half-Life 3 or Bloodborne remastered or Bloodborne actually came out, they would undersell.
These supposedly most-wanted games are more memes then actual potential games, and it's gamer culture with it head up its ass. It's been way too long for anyone but a small cadre of supposed fans to legit care about at this point.
I understand how important Half-Life was and influential and I'm not taking anything away from that but good lord this was like 20 years ago? Why should anyone under 30 care about Half-Life?
I know Elden Ring is the GREATEST THING EVER and I personally obviously adored Bloodborne but the latter was and always would be a PlayStation exclusive. If Demons Souls hasn't left Sony's grip, Bloodborne won't. That makes it not in the same commercial world of the other FromSoftware games.
I was just really struck by this supposed rumor that Half-Life 3 would be announced at the Game Awards. And they did announce a number of other surprise franchise revivals (Turak, Onimusha, Okami) but folks just gotta let stuff go already. It's not cute or funny anymore to cry "Half-Life 3" and "port Bloodborne to PC!" every gaming showcase.
(Honestly just buy a cheap used PS4 on ebay to play Bloodborne then re-sell/donate it).
