This is awesome. I just finished Divinity 2: Ego Draconis.
In the end the hero (the player, you) gets locked up for an eternity in the underworld by the chick he rescued. The rescued girl is off to destroy the world with her boyfriend and his army of supermutant dragons.
So I'm about to take over the entire world. Not too bad
