Just wondering something about what Yahtzee said about Canadian games: Prince of Persia was made by Ubisoft Montreal, which is CANADIAN YOU CHEAP BRITISH!

Here's a list of canadian games:
Baldurs Gate
Neverwinter Night
Prince Of persia series
Splinter's Cell series
Mass Effect
Dragon Age

well some of the BEST GAME EVER PRODUCED!

please give more respect to the Canadian Yahtzee

about that... Assassin's Creed did have fast travel. Maybe it was just the PC version though?

Well, I'm still waiting for the one set in the future so I guess I can pass this one by as well.

Especially since I can't imagine why your character wouldn't have learned anything about assassination from Assassin's Creed 1, which kind of breaks the main plot point for me.

Nothing does quite top the hugging stab kill.
No, we now have the "You are attempting to hold me hostage in front of your boss while trying to hold both my arms, problem is you have just pointed my wrist-stabbing-knife-of-no-finger-loss in both of your faces. I will now give you the chance to let go...no...shink....thud, thud."

That is what we have better then the hug stab.

Anyways on to the review, yes their is the money aspect that was compltely unnecessary but hey thats the optional part of the game, the only thing you REALLY need to collect are the codex pages and litteraly you get those in between missions pretty much by killing a few guards and taking them. honestly have to wonder how Ezio's father never found them.

While I'll admit the combat in game is frustratingly boring in its pre-school easyness, it does have its moments of actual fun gameplay because most of the time I never actually fought anyone, all I really did unless I had no choice was lead them around and slowly pick them off one by one with assassinations. Doing that makes it fun. Well.... stealing the axe weilding soldiers weapon and then raming it back into his skull is highly satisfying, annoying fucks.

final boss battle, You get to beat the shit out of the pope in fisty cuffs, what more needs to be said after that beyond the fact that it was Ubisofts way of getting around their whole 3 minute death sequence monologue without making us sit around and watch as the guy bleeds to death.

ending is still fucked up though, no doubt about that.

I have never taken the time to comment on these videos. I have seen them all, and generally enjoy the satire and good "clean" fun at the game creator's expense. This video's reference to Jurassic Park bit made me laugh me hard, just wanted to say thanks.

Boooo watermark... now I can't take screenshots without having some weird unreadable ghost thing in the background.

"A fish woman" = best line imo

AC 2 reminds me of Fable 2, ie what the first one should have been but still with some of the same problems.

This is the first ZP i've liked in a long time, it feels like a return to the earlier ZP when it sounded a little more professional

New mic i presume, Great job

nah it was in the console version too, but it still required a horse to get to the the end of the area in order to choose which city you fast traveled to.

WTF! Did a bunch of new escapists just sign in to comment on his voice? I have to say I liked the original more too but it's not really a big deal.

Interesting review, I was planning to get this game on computer but I am not sure I want to now after you said it was too easy. I'll have to look at some other reviews now to make sure.

Blimey, Yahtzee has jumped the shark. I used to watch all of his movie two or three times and laugh throughout, but this one wasn't even chuckle-worthy. I think Wolfenstein was the last proper "funny" review, it was downhill from there.
The Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story review was hilarious! I don't see how you didn't think that one was "proper funny".
