If you thought I was the greatest person in the world, or the worst, it would make no difference. Why? Because you're some anonymous internet loser with WAY too much free time on your hands (look at your post count), and NOBODY cares what you think.
According to your opinion, which as we both know, is completely insignificant.
I don't remember asking for Joe Nobody's opinion, did I now?
What excuses your idiocy, again? I laugh that you and the other losers here haven't even tried to deny what I've said, because you all know it is true. You're a loser: find something to do.
I don't take orders from internet scum
Wait, you won't find something meaningful to do. You're writing a reply to me again....how predictable. Fool.
Haha, that's the best you can do? You're even more pathetic than I thought, and believe me, I had you pegged at about 80 on the IQ scale. You're definitely in double digits, that much is certain.
If you DON'T LIKE FANBOYS, THEN GET THE HELL OUT OF THE FORUMS. OR JUST COMMENT WITH THE REST ON HOW FANBOYS SUCK.
By using capital letters, you try to sound more intelligent than you are, which is to say you are trying to sound like anything but the moron which you are.

Post 747 (or maybe 813 by the time I post it).

EDIT: of course, I didn't consider the possibility of people removing their posts, while the counter on the homepage indicated 746 before I'd even post. Buggers.

I post because I don't think there's anything to say that's not going to drown in that amount of "replies".

I think I know how he chooses his musics though.

'Topic' + 'song name database' + 'click google'.

Wow, Yahtzee really knows how to shit stir! Personally I think SSBB is great fun, but fuck his review was funny. This week dishing it out on all the oversensitive console zealots out there was pretty funny too. Not sure what all the fuss is all about... the way people are carrying on you'd think he'd insulted their mothers (ok, well he did this time, but that was fucking funny too).
Anyway just thought I'd add my 2 cents (i.e it's a video game, calm down).

I'm happy to see the response. It always makes me wonder why people would ask in the first place for a review of game "x" only to turn around and give him the finger for expressing his opinion. Eh, at least at the end of the day, we know that he's independent enough to not have to worry about it. It's a vocal minority.

Wow...I left for a day, and suddenly 18 more pages showed up (give or take). I mean, jeez, I didn't even get to take part in some of the more amusing arguments.
...
Well, I know Yahtzee didn't enjoy SSBB, and I know others who don't, so it's believable...

I'm glad this review attacked Wiixtremists and not people with genuinely good arguments, since, although it may imply that all of us who liked SSBB are idiots, we aren't phased since we know there are enough people who do like it justify us.

And as a side note, I'd like to say thanks to g31st for saving me thirty minutes of sifting through this thread (I strangely enjoy tedious things, like the sailing in the Wind Waker - it's weird, I know) to find out who the biggest imbecile in the thread is.

Well there you go, this was the video that made me register.

I have to say I wasn't expecting a mailbag response video any time soon, and not for SSBB as a "not going to dignifying that with a response" kinda thing.
But there it was, and I feel compelled to respond.

Because as a Nintendo fan, yes a Nintendo fan, I just want to make it clear we're not all brain dead fanboys who will sing ZP's praises until we disagree.
To be perfectly honest, I've never been a huge fan of the Smash Bros series, but I have always bought it because I want to own it.. kinda like a souvenir.

Yeah, even though the majority of Nintendo fans are idiots, there are people that can easily handle other opinions without shitting themselves, and there are people that are still lurking that don't quite fit the typical stereotypes most gamers assume.

Looking forward to more videos as always.

I'd have to say that I think the majority of Nintendo fanboys are children, and that's how kids are. We were all like that if we owned a console, most likely, except for the lucky shits that were white enough (and had parents that didn't think games were a bad influence) to get more than one. I'd imagine that a number of the people who post on the forum are masquerading of a greater age, but I'd do it to, cause I would've thought (if I was a kid) that it would make me sound more believable, as opposed to what it really does: make one sound like a misinformed fanboy. Exactly what they are.
But I don't hold that against them. Besides, I've lost the point. Anyway, whether or not they evolve into retards usually remains to be seen, and only a small amount do. But of course, those are the only ones we ever notice, because most of the non-retards don't post on forums. They really don't care (yeah, yeah, I know, and I do care). The fully-grown retards are usually easy to pick out though...they often start statements with "I'm not a fanboy." I've seen it often. If they continue to sound like a fool afterwards, regardless of their grammatical skill (on the internet, it's really a personal preference) you'll have found the TRUE fanboy, he who's opinions can no longer be changed.

Once again, I've written an essay...

This patronising guy has a point, I like him. (or her, but very probably a he)

All of our opinions here are worthless; they aren't going to change anything anywhere that has any meaning in the rest of society. This can be said for pretty much every forum, every debate, every edition of Question Time.

I only post for fun, not because I'm under any mistaken impression that what I have to say means shit. Some people on the internet don't get this and you can tell that from the way they write, and they provide the best entertainment of all.

Carry on people we've still a way to go till 1000. Keep me in the laughs...
No offense, this isn't an attack, but you should probably read ALL of patronizing's posts before you say something like that; I'm not sure he's a good role model. And even if you have read all his posts, he deleted some of his more hypocritical ones (though it didn't stop the banning).

Brawl Thread = Ultimate "I HATE YAHTZEE!" thread.

Mailbag Showdow = Ultimate 'Kiss Yahtzee's ass' thread.

-but whatever, maybe we can get to 2,000 this time!

I'd say that both threads have an equal amount of bile spewing from either side. What really gets me are the people who are angrily shout, through the metaphorical internet megaphone, of their neutrality. It just seems...contradictory to me.

Allow me to throw my 3 cents into the "Ultimate 'Kiss Yahtzee's ass' thread". I only wanted to say that those references of saying "your mother is getting fucked by me" or "your sister ----" are hilarious. I only wonder on the GTA4 review... I don't understand why people get mad when he downplays one of the games you like, opinions are opinions but whatever. I can understand if he misunderstood and said something incorrect but yea... w/e.

Wow that Patronizing guy...what a twat.

Anyway, I bought into the hype of SSBB, living in Europe I decided to import it along with a Wii Freeloader, can't say it was worth it (I even got slapped with an import charge), I was greeted with one of the most overhyped games I've ever played.

It really does come down to the Nintendo fanboys jacking off over the fact it's Nintendo characters, you wouldn't give a flying fuck about the game otherwise, I know I wouldn't.

Before you jump down my throat, yes I did play it with friends.

Brilliant. =D

I loved both reviews--the SSBM one and this wonderful riposte. You know why? They were FUN! Just like everything else Yahtzee pegs up here. And this line probably made me laugh the hardest I ever have when watching one of his vids (which is saying something):

By the way, it's all right, you can swear on the Internet--your mum probably isn't going to read it. I know, because she's too busy being F****D by ME.

This man is a genius.

Darn.

That sucks. I'm sorry.

Although the spectacle of being able to fight in a crossover game is fun to watch, in my point of view. What's so bad about it being Nintendo characters? And what's it like to fuck while flying? I've never tried.
