Took ya 6 hours to figure out weapon mods? Dang Yahtzee...sorry man...guess these games really aren't your forte. Mass Effect was easily game of the year, the dialogue is interesting, because the characters are interesting and I can makes the story and relationships progress however I want, which is ecpecially fun with the Krogan.
Sidequests really are the meat and potatoes, one mission has you going to Earth's moon and fighting floating death droids. On that note, combat for me is smooth as silk and tactics are paramount, mixing special abilities with weapons specialties (picked infiltrator job class) makes the game fun and thought provoking.
Ashley Williams...thought I recognized that name from somewhere.
Seriously though...6 hours?! Go to your equipped weapon and hit 'X'...seriously.

I was hoping to have to avoid this.... But it seems it is inevitable.
First of all. Sure Mass Effect has it's faults and it can be better in so many areas.
However having played alot of the rpg's out there I have to say that this is one of the better ones (And don't even get me started on the JRPG's. I mean come on guys get a f**** room).
Anyways moving on, I agree there were some things that annoyed me. Such as every damn bunker looking exactly the same (except for the arranging of the boxes mind you). The texture updates could have been alot better, but for all it's faults I still can't hate this game.
Personally I think the story in this game beats every other RPG game I've ever played and some of the dialogs were pretty damn hilarious (try Vampire:TMB and play as malkavian for funny dialogs).
So don't take what other people say at face value and try the game yourself before you decide if you hate it. But if you want to be an ass and not form your own damn oppinion then go ahead and listen to these nice people here who probably hasn't even seen the outside of their parents basement.

I have yet to play Mass Effect, but based on this, I guess I should be renting it.
And since we're on the subject, CAD isn't the best webcomic ever, but is far from shitty. If it were shitty, nobody would ever read it, so it does have an audience. It's not as good as PA or VGCats, but I still find it tolerable once in a while.

I would just like to encourage everyone who likes Ctrl+Alt+Del to post about how unfair Yahtzee was to it so that I may make Greasemonkey scripts to automatically block all of your posts.

nazi Yazi has actually disappointed me this week..... its that in a society like ours where people pay good money for and enjoy the random bitching of obnoxious questionable characters with an obscure fetish for fancy hats (oh crap!! see what watching him all the time does to you) anywhoo... but we want our free moneys worth of good bitching and this week Yazi fell short....
Its nice to hear him rant about a games most intimate shortcoming like a back stabbing gay lover telling the streets that you got a short crooked penis ( i told you this Yazi shit is getting to me)but when he so much as runs the game thru like a clueless bimbo doing a math quiz and stretches the whole so called 'review' of one or two aspects that he didnt like into a whole 3 minutes... or what ever the time it takes to spew his fast paced ,concentrated nazi rants.
But hey its Yazi... h doesnt have to try anymore, he can take a crap on all of us and we will still find funny.... hell he might even get away with murder at this stage
