Ok, so I finally got The Orange Box (I know, I know, I'm 3 years late, whatever. I have a Mac, portal was just released for it yesterday) and Portal blew my f***ing MIND. Of course, a large amount of the story had been spoiled for me, but I had never watched a YouTube video of the ending, never seen actual gameplay until a few weeks ago. I avoided most of the whole "The cake is a lie" thing, due to not having any friends who play PC games, so that didn't piss me off too much. The only complaint I really had was how long the last level was. Admittedly, I could have stopped at any time, but I knew I was almost done and I wanted to get to the balls-tighteningly fantastic ending. Anyway, this game is great, and the rest of the Orange Box should be fun too when it's finally released for Mac...

Orange box does indeed have cool games. Half life 2, Team Fortress 2 and portal is the best games i've ever played. On TF2 there is a lot of achievements to do and you can get new weapons by doing achievements for that class you play as. The pyro is fun to be if you like FIRE! ^_^
When are you people that keep saying "I'm the last person to comment!" going to realize that you are ALWAYS the very last person after leaving a comment? Until someone else comments, that is. In which case, you are no longer the last person. So seeing as your comment remains while additional comments are added...please stop.

Portal 2 is basically twice Portal: twice as long, twice as many puzzle elements, twice as many characters, twice as much humor (or maybe three times), twice as many player-modes (with the second one being one with twice as many players), and the ending is twice as "balls-tighteningly fantastic" as the old one.
his portal 2 reveiw made me want to see this one again. Love the end. "if you don't like it you must be stupid!" So straight up.
I have a weird feeling that Valve may make their first title with a "3" at the end being a game that really ties together the 3 "game-like objects" in this.
It would make sense for Gordon Freeman to wield a portal device with Chell being around to push buttons, though it would be hard to tie TF2 into all that.

Portal is truly one of the greatest games ever made. It's clever and funny, but also short, sweet, and to the point. While I liked Portal 2, it can't hold a candle to it's predecessor, but that's just me talking.
