A reply to all of the people who complain about the censorship in this ZP vid:

Get the over that, after reading all of these stupid and unnecessary complaints about censorship I already started to notice that people (like Czechnmymail, oh and a reply to you, Yahtzee is not an Aussie, he's British...) complaining already about that, I think the escapist needed to censor that because they're attending to a public conference, showing that video without censorship is like throwing swears at the president. This video was made for a public conference and awards, if one of you guys would be the host then obviously you wouldn't be throwing insults and swears at the public, that's what the escapist did, this was not for the ZP and the Escapist audience, this was made to the whole public and audience that attended to those awards and if you are swearing and saying that the censorship takes all of Yahtzee's videos fun then you're out of your mind or have self-esteem problems...

And I think that this is the best ZP so far, I don't mind the censorship but it is still the best ZP.

I really liked it. I think the new found censorship actually adds to the comedy. And he repeated a lot of old points (Yeah, the Guitar Hero thing) but was surprisingly refreshing.

Though it is not worth noting Stoic doesn't mean what Yahtzee thinks Stoic means. I am not going to bother to go into the details here except to say that true Stoicism is simply accepting neccessity (i am currently writing a thesis on Stoicism so trust me on this). There is a difference between silent and Stoic, between emotionless and being in control of your emotions. But who really cares about that besides me? Go forth and read Marcus Aurelius' Meditations friends and foes alike.

I say this because technically the Bioshock guy isn't Stoic at all (and technically is called Jack and so also has a name) but rather is just a gun toting guy. So Gordon Freeman should win by default. He is a man who is in a real shitty situation completely outside his control who just accepts it and makes the best of it. That is definantely Stoic. While Jack is to some extent driven by forces outside his control he doesn't take them well at all. In fact it you take into account the endings to the game he is either too nice or too mean to ever be Stoic. But like i said who really cares about my wild ramblings?

There's a difference between Stoic and stoic, my friend. You're not the only person around here who attended a university of some kind, so kindly shelve the lecture on Stoicism and pick up an OED instead.

Lmao I feel so sorry for poor Yahtzee. He tries one thing new with the censoring and every review is about how much no one likes it. Sorry to say but I'm kind of with them on getting rid of it too, unless it was intended for some other reason like the escapist wants you to tone it down. Really funny though I was LOLing all the way through!!! Love that saw bit at the end too, give em' hell LOL!!!

Alright I read through some of the reviews and found out why you had used the censoring. I didn't really find it very annoying anyway so as always amazingly funny review <33 I wish all those commenting on "OMG WTF CENCORING U SUK ASS NOW" would hurry up and die, don't worry about them anyway their probably all 12 year olds/ retards... the least they can do is look it up before jumping to conclusions and wetting themselves.

Is it just me or are alot of you aparently missing the point that this latest ZP was created for another audience & simply ported, aparently without unediting it so us escapists can get our fix of pottymouth, over for our viewing pleasure as fast as they could? Maybe theyll unbleep it in a few days, but frankly if the only reason ppl watch ZP is because Yhatzee is a "comic" reviewer who swears, thats a rather sad reflection on his (vocal) following on this site.

Sad that Yahtzee's review had to be censored this week to protect the sensitive masses. Thankfully his wit was able to shine through. Great review. ZP has become my new favorite thing on the net. Even better than all the free porn...well, almost.

I just want to address a concern I've noticed some people having. G4, extremely nice people as they may be, are only showing short previews of the vids. They don't have any editorial control over the actual videos. They can bleep out swears in their preview if they want but the Escapist edition will remain 100% unobliterated by the smushing finger of editors. If you can't get G4 wherever you are then this information probably won't affect you in the slightest. Not even sure why I brought it up.

Why the hell would you put this last week and then censor your next video?

3) About the console wars thing, the XBox 360 showing up drunk thing was probably a stab at the reliability issues. If the Red Ring of Death thing wasn't as much of an issue, the PS3 would have had a harder time than it did last year.

The Ps3 has better graphics, better sound quality, has better controls, is just better.

I wouldn't go that far, the PS3 has a better CPU and is more powerful but the Xbox360 has a better GPU so in some if not most cases it can make games look much richer in colour on the Xbox360 and play them at higher resolutions. I will say now that the cost is coming down the PS3 is looking better especially because of its blueray player which is now the victor of the format war. At first though the Xbox360 had greater game selection so as soon as some of the better PS3 titles start coming out things should start looking better for the PS3. So from the start the Xbox360 was much better than the expensive PS3 but now that its price is coming down I can start to agree that the PS3 is better is some perspectives.
