You know what, the Twilight movies weren't that bad now that I think about it.
Depends on the movie. The first is just regular bad, but the rest are tedious garbage. Don't even get me started on Breaking Dawn being broken in two parts. That stupid trend making movies have two parts, and nothing of consequence happens in the first part that so many movies have done. All of them are tedious and boring to watch. Stephanie Meyer is an insane biatch of hack no one respects, nor wants to work with. Even the directors and all of the actors from the Twilight movies don't like her, nor have a kind thing to say about her.

I would yes.....so?
The point being that you would change your opinion of him or the movies on a dime, because of something stupid and petty. At least FFVII had a love triangle worth crying about. I can't say the same about Twilight, Vampire Knight, or Inuyasha. Though if anything, I'd say Inuyasha is the worst in this regard.

You are reading too much into the joke.

You're not reading enough in to the joke! Have you ever thought of that?! HHHMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!..........

Any Golden Sun fans here? I got a video from Clemps.

Also, Vanillaware
Is there any easy way of playing Golden Sun? It looks interesting but apparently it's a GBA only game so that means emulation is the best option for most people.

GBA/DS and emulation is the only way to go unfortunately. The games were ported to Wii U's eShop at the time, but you already know the rest.

In celebration of Red Earth finally getting a home console port for the first time.

Talk about being up your own ass. If you think open world games are gonna suck after Elden Ring and BOTW, then you have not held that much of a high standard to begin with. Choosing to ignore what did suck until now. Here's an idea, if you don' enjoy them, then stop playing them and move on to something else. Or is that too difficult for you? Sturgeon's Law, mother-fucker! It took you that long to figure it out?

Yeah, I don't get the complaining in the article

"I liked BOTW", "ER is a good game", "I like open world games, but they're becoming bloated" and then "I don't want open world games to emulate ER and BOTW".

What do you want? What is your point? Ubisoft games are still gonna crank out, dying light 2 and HFW just came out, you've got plenty of Open World games to choose from from the last decade and fuck man, there's hardly a rush of BOTW inspired games coming out even 5 years later. You've got choices other the BOTW and ER.

I saw these this morning. I'm very much looking forward to Friday and a long weekend of just driving and doing the Dark souls of driving tests (aka the gold on the liscenses)

I think I'm the only person around here excited for this game though so i dunno if I'll do an impressions on it or not. Depends on if i have anything to say about it.

Stacey don't know what she wants.

To be a spoiled, whiny, biatch.

Looking at her article again all I can think of is maybe she needs a different type of game because bloat and Total freedom are apparently the issues here. I mean, fuck, that's kind of the whole point of open world games, which leads itself to said issues, so many a more linear experience is in order?

I feel like this is the core of the game journalism problem. These people get assigned to write about games that they obviously don't fucking like or dont care about so the article they produce is just nonsensical bullshit. Just assign specific games to people who are actually interested in that game-type. And if nobody in the office is interested, maybe don't cover it.

I know Marty Silva(?) was talking on one of podcasts(I think last week's breakout) about when he worked at IGN that's what they apparently did, where the people most interested in a game were the ones to review it because they're already familiar with the genre and know how such games work, and when most reviewers get like a week or so to play a game before reviewing it, that's a plus. That does have the issue of the reviewer is already a fan of said games and thus writing from a Fan perspective, but that's an entire discussion on it's own whether it's better for reviewers to be fans or outsiders of a type of game.
