Then stop following them around nor listen to them. Just appreciate what you have now, and don't focus too much on things that are most not likely going to be true or around. You make yourself all the more better for it. I didn't bother following any of these windmill rumors for a good reason.
True, but it’s also hard to ignore unless you simply stop following gaming news. Sure it’s just clickbait bs, but it really shouldn’t even exist in the first place. That’s what bothers me, especially when somewhat reputable gaming sites bother entertaining unconfirmed shit like it’s at all relevant.

Easier for some, and hard for others there still has to be some form of self-control. Don't give them that control.

At this point, you and I know what most clickbait type articles are. I just make it to a point and don't even bother glancing in that direction or look to something that's more interesting.

That’s what bothers me, especially when somewhat reputable gaming sites bother entertaining unconfirmed shit like it’s at all relevant.
Which is why I don't trust a majority of them in the first place. I don't put 100% Faith even to the rarely few sites I do trust or care about. Even The Escapist is guilty of having clickbait articles. I am referring to both versions of the site. The only difference with 2.0, is they'll be nicer about it.

Overwatch 2 is out today, and to nobody's shock the servers can't handle it so maybe it'll be playable in a week or two.
Yep. Experiencing this right now. What's worse is that the queu is showing "0 people" ahead of me. So I don't even know how long I have to wait. Damn it, I really wanted to rip into this game!

How about starting with it being unplayable.
Oh yes, my review draft is already looking pretty bad for the game. I haven't even started the game and it's already pissing me off. On top of that, you are forced to enter your phone number for the purpose of "security". The irony of me giving away my personal info for this purpose is hilarious.

People are sick and tired of remasters and remakes until they remake/remaster a good they like. Other people will see games get remakes and such and be sad that game x,y,z isn't getting a remake.

I think it's a bit of jealousy that other games are getting love but the game you love isn't.

And I'm guilty of it too. LIke I was luck that FF7 got a massive remake, but i still look at TLOU like "What the fuck is that shit?" when I really shouldn't because I'm sure someone who really loves TLOU is quite happy to have a big graphic update.

WE gamers are so fickle.
Well, yeah, but remasters and remakes are different things. I'm not sure if comparing those two is the best example.

So the OW2 queue went from 0, to 40000, and now to 200. Shit's changing faster than crypto scams.

EDIT:

Currently just over 6 hours since launch, and I still can't get in. Turns out even if you wait through the queue, the game has issues connecting you to its servers.

I don't think even Rule34 can save Overwatch 2. I still say the first game should have been an over-the-shoulder MP Brawler, a la Anarchy Reigns.

If it actually is a DDOS, maybe the hackers are doing this for the better; They don't want anyone to experience shit

So I saw some people playing on PC and read some impressions of the game last night.

Overwatch 2 is in a weird spot because it's basically Overwatch again with some adjustments to gameplay and character classes. Bottom line is the game is fine. It's Team Fortress 2 basically but with more characters and more porn. It's not an exciting game and it certainly isn't going to blow anyone's socks off.

Add to that the free-to-pay elements and greedy battle pass nonsense and it's clear they are trying to edge into Fortnite's money which I simply don't think is possible at this stage of the game.
