I hope it's a joke.
I wouldn't be shocked or even disappointed at this point. To be disappointed i'd have to have hope and I don't have any for Konami at this point.

Besides, my rage was already expended at the MGS3 pachicoslot.

"Oh, you can put forth the effort for this but not a Playstation or PC remaster/remake/port? #Fuckonami!"-Me, probably.

Sonic Frontiers Combat

EDIT: Things to note.
  • Similar to Spark the Jester 3, Frontiers is taking inspiration from the Stylish Action genre.
  • This is what the Werehog sections should have been in Unleashed.
  • Melee combat looks way faster pace and less methodical, nor GoW-like. A good move.
  • November is so damn crowded!

Welp, here are all the announcements from the silent hill event today:

Silent Hill 2 Remake. It looks great. James's design is perfect. An average-looking, broken man trying to discover "the truth". It'll be a timed exclusive for PS5, with pc release happening probably in a year (probably).

Silent Hill Townfall. I think it's supposed to be more akeen to the first SH game? Or is it the next chapter of the franchise?

Return to Silent Hill. A movie made by the same guy who did the original movies all those years ago.

Plus some other stuff like Pyramid Head statue, James Sunderland statue, Maria statue, the secret ending statue, SH merc, etc

Where the fuck are the Xbox fans? Why are these people not flipping out? If you bought an Xbox thinking you'd get all this cool day 1 shit on Gamepass then the joke was on you apparently.

Ya'll know I'm Playstation4life, but even I'm sad for Xbox users at this point.

It was brought up a while ago(probably by me) but Rampage Love Letter Terror of Hemasaurus is out. Currently $10 on Steam. User reviews are pretty good thus far and I enjoyed the 2-3 levels in the demo(one of which was there you were supposed throw people into the blades circling news helicopters because why the hell not?). Also liked the fact that if you knock enough chunks out of buildings they topple onto other buildings and such, and you can toss vehicles into the buildings to make this process faster.

So basically Rampage but with more physics. Also has 4 player co-op, so that's fun. I imagine for $10(normally $13) if you basically want moar Rampage, it's probably worth the ticket price.

SH Ascension, some sort of live-chat-based, interactive story. No idea how it's gonna work. Remidns me of Twitch plays pokemon where simple inputs took hours. Plus I like my horror experience to be solitary; Having people yell and laugh next to me breaks the immersion

SH f. A game based in rural Japan. It actually looks interesting. A SH game mixed with Japanese horror and mythos.

Hear me out though. RDR Definitive Edition
I'd love to see it. I'd love to see Rockstar to care about any of their series that don't start with GRAND and end with AUTO. I'm still kind of shocked they didn't remake RDR in the RDR2 engine considering they remade 2/3 of the base game in RDR2 and there's considerable evidence they were working on the Mexican section before the game shipped. They'd done a lot of the groundwork already and they still have John Marten's VA on speedial if needed.

Because the last Definitive Editons went so well right? Come on man.
Oh, I see what you were doing now.

Yeah, I mean, considering what happened there, I get what you mean. Though granted, if they'd actually fucking cared to put effort into that, it wouldn't have been a shitshow, but instead the pawned it off on a tiny studio with like 20ish people and then apparently cut the timeline to have something to release for the quarter. The results were obvious.

Rockstar has the money and (possibly) the Talent to make really good games IF they want to. But that requires them caring and I don't see a lot of that anymore.
