So you're telling me Leon's gonna rip off her head and use it as a flashlight.
Or he's about to get some sweet red orbs.So you're telling me Leon's gonna rip off her head and use it as a flashlight.
Is that the Eye of Sauron floating above her head?
I fully expect the default knife to be modded for infinite durability before too long. She doesn't have a life bar anymore (she just needs to be helped up whenever "damaged"), so you get to hog all the herbs for yourself. The game doesn't allow you to point your gun at her but you can and will kill her on accident while trying to shoot down whoever's carrying her away. Nobody's quite carried her away so I guess I can't complain, but it seems to happen more often here.
My biggest problem with this Ashley is ordering her around. You can't tell her to wait anywhere anymore, nor put her in a dumpster (except for one specific locker in the village area). You can tell her to get either close or super close to you, and in my experience it makes absolutely no difference.
The lack of a health bar takes away some of the tension, but she's generally more inconvenient as an escort because the game forces her so much on the player.
The knife certainly doesn't. Headshot/kick/slash was my go-to in the original. Here the knife will break after 3 or 4 uses. You have to keep repairing it and also upgrading it. The game gives you even more knives to carry around as a compromise. I don't think they're as powerful as your main knife but I end up equipping them until I use them all up just to keep the main knife safe from repairs.
If anything I'm surprised it's not an unlockable. OG mode or something.I fully expect the default knife to be modded for infinite durability before too long.
Really? El Gigante only grabbed me twice and that was it. I didn't get hit by any of his punches. I did bump up the sensitivity movement, but not by too much. You playing on Series/One X or PC? You mentioned the A button. So I just beat the giant boss in the Quarry. I have a question - why bother having a run button if the run is A. not much faster than the walk, and B. isn't fast enough to dodge an enemy? I took every single hit from the giant. Took me like 3 attempts. If he charged, I attempted to run, got hit. If he swung, I attempted to run, got hit. If he grabbed, I attempted to run, got hit. No matter where I was in the quarry, not matter where the Giant was, it had a 100% hit chance because Leon runs like an overloaded dump-truck on flat tires.
The same reason that sprinting on the horse in DA:I didn't actually move faster and just added speed lines. Just for the psychological effect. So I just beat the giant boss in the Quarry. Same thing happened to me on PS4.Pc, using xbox gamepad
There is an unlockable knife that can be made unbreakable, but you have to complete the game first to get it. I looked it up before making that comment and really, it's okay but like I said I expect the regular knife to be modded to be unbreakable soon enough. If anything I'm surprised it's not an unlockable. OG mode or something.
The basic plagas infected ain't that clever. They're more or less drones that tries to look/behave normal. They walk into their bear traps and wire traps, if you let them. It even happens to the soldier infected plagas. And these guys have trip wires without the beeps. You need to be some special kind of moron to make a tripwire trap that beeps constantly.
I'd say the running speed is fine, it's just that el Gigante has a bit of a homing issue. You can get a charm from the shooting range (randomly generated though) that increases your running speed by 8%, which doesn't sound like much but you can actually tell the difference. So I just beat the giant boss in the Quarry. I picked this clip for a particular reason. You'll see it at the 1 minute and 30 second mark. Before the fight, I like how Leon does the most unnecessary backflip ever.
