Anyone paying at least a vague amount of attention would be, yes.
Also, in my case at least, embarrassment. The collapse of civilisation wasn't something I'd have expected to be so cringe.
They can't have it both ways
Either they lied and they don't believe Trump is actually a threat to Democracy and The United States of America or they actually do believe it but they have no intention of doing anything about it, letting us all fend for ourselves in our soon to be ruined country and Democracy as Hitler 2.0 takes over the country (and are in fact welcoming him with open arms, a smile, and a promise to make the transition as smooth as possible).

Did not the SCOTUS say the POTUS was beyond the law? So Biden can chase Trump off with a big stick?
Refusing to meet him and have this meaningless photo op wouldn't be "doing something about it". It would accomplish nothing, while solely empowering Trump.
Empty gestures can be well and good but not when they literally empower your enemies.
So instead of letting Trump as threat to democracy into office, you want them to fill the role of threat to democracy themselves ? And with a pro-Trump supreme court ? Talk about hypocricy.

If I truly believed that Trump was literally Hitler and was going to destroy the country, how could I sit there with a big smile on my face telling him "congratulations and we look forward to making this process as easy as possible for you"?

1. Do as Trump did and basically confirm the precedence that is the acceptable way to how all future transitions should go.
2. Do as it is supposed to be done and restore dignity to the process.
Can he not at least condemn and criticise whilst not breaking the law?
That would not stop Trump but help all his sycophants to do their "the democrats do the same" spiel whenever he does something outrageous later.
It won't stop Trump, no, but it's not like his deplorables will play nice if Biden does. May as well make a fuss.

I have a feeling that if he did a Trump and deliberately obstruct his successor you'd have said ''Oh! So Biden's behaving the same as TRump did, so who's the threat to democracy now!?''
Obstruct as in incite an attempted coup? Surely there's something he can do that doesn't involve QAnon shamans.
Biden is shit regardless of what he does and if there is a God, he will be thrown into the deepest, darkest pits of Hell where all he gets to do is sit there while he watches ice cream melt while a devil pokes him in the side every so often with a pitchfork.
All I'm saying is Democrats can't have it both ways. So either they're all liars and don't actually believe Trump is going to be the end of The United States and Democracy as we know it OR they're escorting Hitler 2.0 into the White House, hands extended with a big ol smile on their faces ready to do everything they possibly can to make sure Hitler 2.0 has an easy and smooth transition into power.
One of those things are true. The first one isn't great but if it's the second one...
He might live long enough for Trump to lock him up for something, which has a certain appeal.
