I'm honestly curious how often this comes up. I know it's the cliche, but I've never been in a dentist office and seen such an outburst. I often fall asleep while in the chair, so I'm hardly freaking out either.

The drugs they use to numb the jaw are REALLY good at their job! So yeah, I'm curious where the actual numbers fall on "crazy violent patient"

Oh I have.. Although I didn't SEE the woman who was screaming and punched the nurse and knocked over the tray, I did see the nurse fall through the curtain along with the utensils and HEARD what was happening on the other side of the curtain and then watch the woman come out saying " I'm sorry, I am sorry, I'm soo sorry.. I just have a bad defense reaction to pain"

You know when they tap on the teeth to verify which one needs to be worked on? Yea, that was apparently all that had happened to cause such a reaction...

They need to make that robot patient more aggressive and violent than that to be able to do that though.

Pretty sure if the patient is SCREAMING, it's probably not the right time to perform any kind of DENTAL procedure; that they practice for that scenario is baffling. Unless these doctors are black market quacks? Performing illegal procedures on people against their will? Selling human teeth to ivory dealers?

The screaming happened with the only tap on the tooth.. Everything pretty much happened all at once..
The dentist was great, excellent ratings. The woman WANTED them to come back and help her after she just did that. LOL

All the nurse did was tap on the tooth once like she did to mine with no reaction. You never know what people are going to do.

People like this exist all over the place and they go to see the dentist and doctors too..

Dental emergencies can be life threatening so they very well may have to sedate someone like this in order to save their life.

Sounds like she’d absolutely hate the water jet thing. I’m developing an aversion to it as my back molars get more sensitive to cold sensations, at least at initially.

Apparently Sensodyne toothpaste helps so will probably try that before my checkup next month.

Nice precision flying, although I wonder what they're using to maintain the drone's datalink to the control station when they're sending it into an enclosed structure with the possibility of several walls eventually obstructing the signal path. Maybe they make really powerful Wi-Fi routers.

My favorite bit is the secret bath that takes up a whole room, tucked away past the Girls Gone Wild collection on the second floor of the bootleg dvd warehouse. Or maybe the bathroom with two toilet bowls, right next to each other, with no separation. Or that it has 6 emergency exits.

Idk how anyone can find anything in that place. I don't even know what I am looking at there and amazed they even did a 3d walkthrough without cleaning the place as that would bring DOWN the value rather than increase it. That place was just gross. That is besides the WTH is happening here layout. I think I missed your favorite bit as I just had to stop when I got to all the boxes mess, it was hurting my eyes and brain to even trying and figure that out. To make it worse when I first started this, the garbage truck made a huge crashing sound outside and it freaked me out.. XD

Thanks to company rules I can't share the photo online, but I found an action figure embedded in 50ish year old concrete today. Some kind of GI-Joe looking army man.

For the era it would be totally normal to find pop cans or cigarette packages and the like stuck in concrete because people would dump trash in during work to avoid carting it away, but this is the first time I've ever seen a toy apparently forcibly inserted from the ass up into concrete. If it was a kid screwing around on a construction site then they did a hell of a job climbing down 6 stories of scaffolding below the earth to pull this off.

Oh also I got to dig up some record photos of construction. A sea of mullets, mustaches and plaid shirts. I can't wait for some asshole half a century in the future to mock the polo shirts and beards of today.

Watching Rick and Morty, S3:E1 from 2017, and the bomb that drops out of the portal killing Rick's wife and daughter in the phony flashback he concocts about his origins (roughly 9m45s in) looks exactly like the stock image of COVID-19: grey ball with dozens of red, circular protrusions. Given the nature of the show, I'm left slightly perturbed and am questioning everything.

My girlfriend bought a jug of iced tea which she has been periodically pouring into a cup and heating in the microwave to make hot tea. I asked why she'd chosen not to make fresh tea like a normal person, and she said "you mean warm up water then soak a bag of leaves to make tea? Because warming up tea is a one-step process." I hate when she makes so little sense and all the sense in the world at the same time. Women...
