He was fired in 2015 and rehired in 2018 by a different management.

Moviebob kindda has two sides to him, I do like his videos and podcasts featuring him since he always seems really thoughtful and considerate. But on twitter it's less so which does bum me out

I do, there's useful and informative stuff to be found, from people wanting to be helpful. But I'm selective about which YouTube, Twitter and Facebook stuff I look at.
For the record, I was referring to his constant put down in belittling others for either having a different opinion or criticizing him. or having his rabid fans attack others for criticizing him. That's what I meant when I said "doing the same shit over and over again". Dude never learns and is trapped in a miserable cycle, and it's too full of himself to realize.

I liked that site for that unique feature, but the only good thing that came from that was Monty Oum.

I understand. I just had to get that out of my system. Still doesn't change alot of the things he's done. I don't have much sympathy for him, I lost that a long time ago. But I made my peace. You have a good one.
Yea, I never really interacted with him or his fan base, just watched a clip here and there. I am not saying you are malicious for speaking your mind, I just feel that way when talking about someone else losing a job or contract for myself. Admittedly, there are people I have not felt bad for when they bring things on themselves. Though if he was belittling people, I can understand how you feel as well. It is certainly not a good way to build a fan base.

Yes. I knew about the screw attack vid, because I saw Bob's post on his blog/YT and telling everyone to vote there. I never voted, but I did not know about rules at the time, because I thought nothing of it. Someone else had the evidence, but I don't remember, other than the tvtropes page. And another thing, one of the entries is mine:
Co Cage: The review of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014). Bob does the same thing he did in his reviews of The Amazing Spider-Man 1 & 2, saying that he never held any bias towards the new movie. This is his bullshit at its finest, because of all his disdain for the movie is in Bob’s previous blog posts; long before the film came out. The whole ninja turtles are aliens’ rumors being the start. He then goes on to say it’s worse than Turtles III and the The Next Mutation (big YMMV). There is some huge contradiction, because once again, in a previous blog post/Big Picture episode, he said that the third movie should never be mentioned considering how lazy and bad it turned out. The worst part is him adding or making up flaws that weren’t in the movie. He goes on to say April got too much focus and was horribly played by Megan Fox. The former is not true, as she and the turtles get nearly an equal amount of screen time, and the latter is once again, YMMV. The movie does start a little slow and I would have preferred someone else, but Fox does a decent job. The other is an exaggerated flaw of Michelangelo always being “horny for April”. It is true Mikey is always the jokester, but the only time he usually puts the moves on April is when it’s not a serious scene. Even then, the other turtles tell him to knock it off, just like in most other continuities. When things get serious, he gets his act together. This is hypocritical considering Donatello is guilty of doing the same thing in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2012). Always trying to impress April and hugely crushing on her. Something a lot of fans got tired of by end of the first and second season. For the record, I don't care much for the new Spider-Man films and I am neutral about Michael Bay at best (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen being the exception), but Bob, if you are not going to bother giving a movie you don't like from the start a chance, don’t lie and make shit up. Seriously, his review comes up as a Bay-hating checklist (even though he didn't direct the movie, Jonathan Liebesman did) and ends with him saying that he’s done with being nice to the director. Not to mention acting like a whiny little prick for the film not being like the previous movies. Seeing this video, he is no longer a serious movie reviewer or a video game commentator in my eyes (even back then, I had my doubts). This video is just a testament to everything wrong with him.
So what? I can tell the difference between hating him, disliking him, or calling out his bullshit with legit reason over just hating him for the sake of it. I was there or seen most of the videos at least once in those entries (Up to about 2014 was when I stopped watching. Even before then, I would barely touch his videos starting around 2011. The whole Expendables/Scott Pilgrim disaster). I may not agree with some of them, but I understand why. Hell, one entry got removed by mods, because the poster was hating on Bob for still considering Batman (NES) to be the definitive/best Batman game ever made. I thought it was stupid and petty too. The poster definitely wasted an entry and did not bother putting in a better example. Believe whatever you want; I do not care. I tire and bore of talking about the jerk. If you want support and watch him, be my guest. Just remember, he has not learned a fucking thing. Continuing to be just another ranting YouTuber wangsting about nothing and hating on others for dare thinking differently from him. I am not going to repeat myself anymore: I am done.

Never stopped Bob from doing exactly that, but then he lives by that horrendous "no bad tactics just bad targets" creed.
It wasn't just on Twitter. You can see it in his videos as well. You don't have to be an experienced critic to know that a movie like The Last Jedi is objectively an attrocious film. It's hardly a matter of opinion. I may not like Moviebob, but he's allowed nor is he not wrong for liking the new SW films. I thought TLJ was a B and I still stand by that. I admit, the casino scene went nowhere and was pointless. If it was not for that, it would be a bit higher. Force Awakens is a B-, and Rise of Skywalker is just a C. After RoS, my interests in SW immediately deflated, but I was never super fan to begin with. More of a casual watcher. Besides, if I need any space and laser sword action, I got options for days.
I highly doubt that. I admit Bob is a corporate apologists though when it comes to certain game companies. See his video on the Diablo mobile fiasco (or on the dethroning moment of suck page), and Acti-Blizz nefarious actions. He downplays they're actions and ignores or denies legit complaints with proof. Becoming no different than Extra Credits in that regard.
