You know, if they gave us something somewhat in the vein of Prince of Persia 2008 with a bunch of platforming sections spread out through an open world, I would be up for it.

Does Tron Legacy really need defending though? It got decent reviews and most people I've run into seem to think it was pretty good. Not funny? That movie is hilarious! It's like watching a really god-awful B movie, only made on a triple-A budget.

I don't think wanting to see an under-served genre be revived is necessarily the same as nostalgia. I, for instance, haven't played any of those well regarded isometric RPG's of old outside of the Fallout series (and I played Fallout 1 & 2 for the first time in 2008) and I'm still very excited...

The only way to turn it off that I know of is to turn HUD opacity all the way down, but then you lose your health and magicka bars as well. I've even looked for mods to remove the compass with no success.

Morrowind. I never paid any of the quests much heed, preferring instead to just travel around the world in my search for cooler and cooler gear.
