Gallery of the Day - Movie to Videogame Adaptations

Surprised Enter the Matrix made it onto the list, as I recall that game was kind of a mess, all the more disappointing for me as Shiny was one of my favourite developers.

NASA Captures First Images of Saturn's Titanic Hurricane

You know, squint your eyes a bit and it almost looks like some renaissance era religious painting. Something you'd see on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.

Games that need to be on PSN

Hogs of War is on the store as is Psychonauts.

Games that need to be on PSN

What games do you want to see on PSN? Specifically, what disc-based games need to have a digital release, classic or otherwise? My personal big three are Croc, a PS1 platformer and the most adorable game ever made, Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil for the PS2 and Folklore for the PS3. Croc and...

Nintendo Needs To Reboot Mario and Luigi

You know, if they gave us something somewhat in the vein of Prince of Persia 2008 with a bunch of platforming sections spread out through an open world, I would be up for it.

Curiosity Update Lets Players Pay to Add Cubes

Unless the secret is Dungeon Keeper III I kind of doubt it's going to be worth it.

Square Enix "Preparing" Final Fantasy Versus XIII Announcement

So, they're announcing the upcoming announcement?

Films you would like to see on Movie Defense Force

Does Tron Legacy really need defending though? It got decent reviews and most people I've run into seem to think it was pretty good. Not funny? That movie is hilarious! It's like watching a really god-awful B movie, only made on a triple-A budget.

    Escape to the Movies: 42

Not until the 19th, I think.

    Torment Breaks Kickstarter Record

I don't think wanting to see an under-served genre be revived is necessarily the same as nostalgia. I, for instance, haven't played any of those well regarded isometric RPG's of old outside of the Fallout series (and I played Fallout 1 & 2 for the first time in 2008) and I'm still very excited...

InXile Reveals First Torment: Tides of Numenera Screen

Hope that satisfies you, at least a little. There are also more Torment videos on inXile's youtube channel.

InXile Reveals First Torment: Tides of Numenera Screen

The only way to turn it off that I know of is to turn HUD opacity all the way down, but then you lose your health and magicka bars as well. I've even looked for mods to remove the compass with no success.

Are There Any Games You Loved, but Never Finished?

Morrowind. I never paid any of the quests much heed, preferring instead to just travel around the world in my search for cooler and cooler gear.

    Reverse Progression

The Witcher does this a lot, and it gets pretty irritating at times. A quest to get information on a shadowy organization quickly becomes an out of control spiral of tangentially related quests you need to complete in order to make any progress and it gets very difficult to keep track of...

An Impromptu Witcher Lets Play - now with the Witcher 2!

I started playing the game myself not too long ago. Haven't finished yet, but here are some things I've found in my playthrough: - Make good use of Aard (the force push thing.) Once you've upgraded it a bit it stuns/knocks down enemies a lot more often, leaving them open to finishing moves...
