That was my favourite quote from the whole review xD
OT: this is pretty much what I expected: beautiful landscapes/artstyle, but tedious gameplay. I'm glad Susan's review draws a different picture from Kotaku's hyped up articles.
They really don't seem to be doing much to encourage people to back this project.
It looks like they rely on the name "Black Isle" alone to get those funds.
I don't think projects like this one should be encouraged..
Woah, I honestly didn't think it would make it! Good for them!!
Can you imagine how stressed everyone over at 22cans must've been?
I look forward to seeing what they come up with.
Upon learning that Yahtzee enjoyed their game, they would obviously go to the presses and produce new covers featuring that sentence before sending them to all stores carrying the game so they could change them individually.
...what? What do you mean "unrealistic"?
Ooooohhh!
There's a very high chance I'll go back to playing this game now! :D
I loved the concept and atmosphere, but it felt too incomplete to pay a monthly subscription for.
I think Up is the better movie, if only for the whole metaphor the house brings.
Toy Story 3 is not far behind, and is so relevant to so many people.
I loved the first arc of Wall-E, but then the movie becomes way too preachy for me.
EDIT: Forgot to mention Ratatouille, which is also...
That's a really awesome feature right there, and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more of it!
Would be nice to have a "Deals from overseas" section for our UK fellows & Beyond.
While the promotion itself doesn't really surprise or shock me, what actually does is how cheap the reward seems to be.
I mean, 600 points is practically nothing. I'm not into the Halo games, but even if I were, I would not bother with that promotion since it doesn't seem worthwhile.
It looks very... gray.
I agree with pretty much all that's been said so far: doesn't look very different from current MMOs. One of the reasons that drew me to WoW and keeps me there is how distinctive its aesthetic is.
This simply feels bland and generic.
