When was the last time you cried and/or teared up during a video game?

Oh yeah. Same here. Aside from that, the Kaidan/Ashley death scenes in Mass Effect never really affected me much: I played with Wrex/Garrus as soon as I got both of them. In another story, I was watching a friend of mine play Mass Effect: He had gotten past the point I was on (Used a...

    Jim Ward Leaves LucasArts

On one hand, I'd love to see Lucasarts branch out more, but on the other hand, Lego star wars and Republic commando (ESPECIALLY republic commando) were awesome.

    Games you Want to see

I honestly can't believe nobody has mentioned Republic Commando yet. That game was an absolute masterpiece: A sequel with a longer campaign, co-op, and multiplayer that doesn't suck would be an absolute must-buy for me. You, my good sir, have won this thread.

    Tired of Playing Humans

Actually, there's some spin-off of the Deer hunter game series (Forgot what it's called exactly: Deer Hunter: Revenge?) Where you play as a deer and hunt Hunters. Aside from that, the only other thing I remember about it was that you could bait hunters with donuts. Came out around '98 or so.

Introducing the Google Image Search 2 Porn Game!

Made it up to 13 with Stereo, and only 3 with sock.

    "The G-Man"

That was just great. The fact that he managed to slip Aperture science in there just made it all the sweeter.

    Tired of Playing Humans

Personally, I'd just love the opportunity to roll Krogan/Turian/Quarian in Mass Effect. I'm okay with being human, but Bioware knows how to make some neat races.

    I <3 Fox News

As much as I hate Spike TV, Geoff handled the trap fairly well. I liked that talk show host they had on, though: I didn't think it was possible to get dumber than someone who actually works at Faux news, but she found a way.

Franchises that NEED to DIE, and those that will last forever

Sonic. Though that's painfully obvious to anyone who's played a sonic game in the past 5 years.

Great video game heroes and villains

As far as heroes go, I've always liked Sam Fisher (From number one through chaos theory, mind you). At the age of 54 (54!) he's running all over the world snapping necks, knocking people out, spouting snappy lines, and having absolutely hilarious interrogations with guards. Plus, the fact that...

    Poll: Half-life 2: Episode 3: The Escapist's reader theories

It's better than waiting 23 million years until Half-life 3 comes out. Anyone remember how long we had to wait for 2? Almost achieved Prey status there.

    Your favorite underappreciated games...

Actually, go to source.bungie.org/get/. It's easy sauce to set up, the page it's on has some cool extras, and it only takes a minute to download. Actually, with a few fanmade patches, it's quite easy to run on XP. I highly recommend this game to anyone willing to track down a copy.

    Your favorite underappreciated games...

Marathon, Psychonauts, Battlezone (The PC FPSRTS version, not the Atari one), Indigo Prophecy, and System Shock 2. Oh hey, another Armored Core player! Gimme your Gamertag (Mine's VT 316), we should set up a match sometime. I love Battlefront too, but RA2 and the simcity games never...

    Syrupy Water or Watery Syrup?

After reading that review, I can only describe my reaction as stuponfucious [http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2003/12/10].
