I can think of three reasons that got blown into epic proportions: -CoD3 sucked -Infinity Ward made Modern Warfare -Treyarch brought CoD5 back to WWII (The very mention of World War II turns the stomach of many people, regardless of whether or not the actual game was good or not.)
