My mom of course!
She's very good at cooking, and if we were to ever find some kind of shelter, that could hide us from the zombies 4evah, she would be able to provide me with healthy organic good tasting treats!!!
She can make that out of like EVERYTHING!!! :O

Pope John Paul II's Katana. He went out in the middle of the night to slaughter the infidel and the heretic, and he was the best pope ever. His Katana never goes blunt and can cut anything.

I would use a spear with a half moon crescent on one end and sharpened end at the other, it keeps the Zeds away and allows you to decapitate them,

No doubt, this has been the subject of discussion before, but if you only had 1?...

Personally, I'd go for the Thompson fully automatic
I'm assuming this thread wasn't influenced by the sheer amount of time we spent playing the Nazi Zombies minigame?

I'd go for the .357 Magnum. 1-hit kills!

:D

I'll take my katana because I know how to use it, no ammo and I can't miss with it. Not to mention it would make the documentery the survivors make of me so much cooler.

Land raider crusader.
[nerd]I'd have said that the side-mounted flamers on the Land Raider Redeemer would be more suitable for the close quarters zombie fighting that you'd probably encounter[/nerd]

I love these hypothetical situations.
Be careful though, or you may end up charging at flaming zombies. Fire zombies are quite hazardous in close combat.

Guns are not good weapons in a zombie outbreak unless you have an enormous supply of ammunition. I'd feel safer with a solid physical weapon like a (weighted) baseball bat, sledgehammer or axe. With staying away from the zombies as top priority to prolong your survival.
i swear that when i read "weighted" i thought you were going to say "companion cube" haha that would be awesome to have in a zombi apocalipse

a katana, definitly

Hi, botanist here. We can work something out.

If I had unlimited ammo, a silenced MP5. Gunshots attract zombies, you'll want to down them quickly and with as little noise as possible. Taking out a 5 or 6 that way can save you from having to deal with dozens at a time.

If we're being realistic, (or at least as realistic as we can with a zombie survival situation) a crowbar.

Katanas are actually no good at all. Most of the katanas you find locally are novelty model not made for actual use. "real" ones need a significant amount of skill to use properly and bladed weapons generally need alot of maintenance.Their not as powerful as pop-culture likes you to believe.

well my friend, i actually do know how to use a katana, i am no master but i can safely say that against a zombi i would make it, also forget katanas, anything "sharp" enough to cut trough bones would be good, take away the head and its done

The Standard Infantry Rifle - it never jams, is perfect for long range, and is endorsed by the U.S. government in the fight against zombies.

Now, shameful references to a fantastic novel aside (and points for knowing the novel in question must be awarded, I feel) personally, I'd probably go for a machete. It's functional, doesn't need ammunition and is, most importantly, pretty cool, since, if zombies take over the world, surviving is gonna be damn difficult, so I'll go for looks and never mind the horrible and inevitiable death that awaits me one way or another.
world war Z is the book you thinking of? oh and probably a halbred basically a axe head and spear point at the end of a 6 foot long pole use the spear point to keep them at bay and if they get close use the axe head

A nice, sharpened search button. Penetrates the skulls of zombies and lazy OP's with deadly efficiently. But seriously, crowbar.
