That's not how it works in the U.SMstrswrd said:Oh lord. The mind boggles. I'm surprised each family isn't suing the other for rape or something... unless the laws in the UK are differnet. I know in the US, if two people consent to sex, but are both underaged, technically, it's rape, and each family can be sued by the other. Is that how it works in the UK, or not?
How about not pressing charges? It's not rape in any decent country/state.magic8BALL said:Sue? Rape is illegal here (in Australia) and the UK. Sue nothing. Press charges. Criminal conviction. But there minors still, so a slap on the wrist the first time and some detention room with barbed wire for a couple of weeks each other time.
Not in my state. The first one seems odd to me: kids usually have a thing against non-same-age couples.

There are people like me, who are stressed even when the girl is using a pill and I am using a condom.Labyrinth said:Ladies and gentlemen: Why sex and contraception should be taught together.
I've got this 14 year old co-worker (total jailbait) who hates condoms and is planning to get tótally wasted with Carnaval next week. Combined with this little topic (and ofcourse the rest), I just say: today's parents and schools failed when a 14 year old girl doesn't care about condoms.raxiv said:There are people like me, who are stressed even when the girl is using a pill and I am using a condom.
Yeah, I'm all for frank and embarrassing sex ed. But the question inevitably rises, how are we going to fix that in this thread?fullmetalangel said:I'm in no way saying that we should just let children do this. It may be bad, but not so horrible that we all flip out about it, we just need to teach children sex ed better. I'm glad I come from an area with a very good sex ed. program.
Both underage, never happen. Even if one of them was 16+ it's unlikely the courts would give out anything more than a token slap on the wrist. There's no way they'd send a teenager down for it.zacaron said:would be interesting thou if the girls parents pressed rape charges.
15 year old girl raped by 13 year old kid?
im not sure if the court would accept this or just toss them out, I dont know how UK courts work.
He's not and he's also not legally allowed to work.fish food carl said:I understand that the girl might be having sex, and of course contraception should have been drilled into their minds, but for Christ's sake, this boy was twelve when he had sex! Twelve! Screw contraception, he shouldn't legally be able to have sex!
You're 'joke' suggests Microsoft keeps Parents away from their children. The baby wasn't conceived in a hospital after it was born...Jamash said:Reading the article in the Sun and a quote from the boys Father, I can safely say I've identified the root of the problem.
I can't help but think, that if he had some decent games to play, none of this would have happened. And Dennis, 45, said:"He could have shrugged his shoulders and sat at home on his Playstation. But he has been at the hospital every day."
You never hear of 12 year old X-Box owners getting girls up the duff.
