one of the worst things society has done to it's youth? with the amount of single mothers sponging off benefits and having more children to get better counsel houses in England I don't see what the problem is with a father being 13. I do find it funny though that because of new legislation he still has to go to 5 more years of schooling/apprenticeship before he's allowed to stop and get a full time job.

How is this Society's 'fault'? it seems to be society which has the problem with them!

I thought it was in british schools?, in France I had the banana condom thing, same with in Spain.

Its the current state of England I guess, there was an 11 year old dad about 10 years ago, kudos to him he actually works his guts out for his kid.

it is sex education starts in some schools at 5 and consists like this, "have all the sex you like but only when you want too and don't feel pressured BUT ALWAYS USE A CONDOM!(practice putting them on plastic penis') and get put on the pill, and get one of those things sewn into your arm. or mix it up with a femidom." followed by a film of an abortion and slides of various STI's then a film about someone the students age who has HIV.

Zirnitra, your post bemuses me. Surely the fact that education is compelled upon all is to the advantage of all, in particular employers as it ensures their employees will be relatively coherent, have a basic understanding of mathematics and in general will not be utterly useless?

The amount of 'benifit spongers' and beggers we have nowadays is actually lower than the number of beggers we had during the 1890s, a period of much lower population denisty and the height of Britain's Imperial Power. Sorry, but benifit spongers are an absurdly low number of people, despite what the tabloids want you to think.

I have a nine year old daughter. I have discussed with her that girls that have babies at a young age ruin their lives. They don't get to have fun as a teenager. No hanging out with their friends at the Mall. No dating. No movies on Friday night. Home schooling now because being a parent is a full time job. So that means no being in High School. It ruins the chance of going to college. It often ruins the person's life in so many ways. I will continue to tell these things more and more as she gets older. I will not stop. Hopefully it works.

I was thinking more along the lines of completely segregate male and female children until they're 17 or 18, but that might work too. And make protection much easier to get, i.e. over the counter for free at drugstores.

Having sex with a 15 year old girl as a 12 year old? That'd be sweet! I know I wanted that when I was 12. Don't look down on people who are younger then you. What, you think this shit does not happen in America too? Or Holland? Or Germany? It is an unfortunate event in all of our counties. Britain is sadly not unique in this matter.

There's people at the University of Calgary who were constantly showing up with pictures of aborted fetus's and comparing it to the genocide in Rwanda and the Holocaust. The student council finally voted them off campus and they pro-life people are appealing the decision. I hope this will heavily influence the student council's decision. Two kids with no idea of the implications of their actions not having a friggin abortion. Maybe it isn't moral to just constantly have unprotected sex and just have an abortion everytime the girl gets pregnant, but a 15 year old and a 12 year old? I hereby declare that all pro-life people are stupid hippies who need to be thrown in a nuclear power generator, another thing that could help the earth so very much but they probably hate because they're stupid.

um really.. use protection, this is why they should teach sex in school. how are they going to raise a child like this?? i suggest foster parents. imagine a 10 year old with a 25 year old mom CHRIST. the older women probably manipulated the kid, i can't remember the age where women go through puberty i think its 14-16, so my guess was hormones

edit: it could have been a condom brake...when i was 12 i had a couple condoms in my room, because i never knew what might happen in life, too bad i never used them
