Someday, someone will compare this to a regular Blu-ray player and a regular home theater system and will conclude that there is virtually no difference between the two.

Seriously, this thing better make me spontaneously orgasm when I pop in Star Wars.

Does this thing even have better quality than a regular Blu-Ray player?

It's like a standard Blu-Ray player in a $135,000 fortress.
that's what I'm wondering too.

It sounds to me like the 7200 dollar audio cables.. Which also brought to mind James Randi and his challenge to the manufacturers of the 7200 dollar audio cables to Prove the Value or STFU.

For 135,000 dollars, it better play Blu-ray, DVD, HDDVDs (cause, who knows - those discs are still floating around), and pleasure me sexually.

It as a bunch of bells and whistles but doesn't do everything a regular blu-ray does....yep, it's an expensive paperweight.

Nah, but a $135,000 Blu-Ray player is cool.

/sarcasm
the alternative you're overtly suggesting is Communism.

and that's no fun for anyone.

Guys, when North Korea nukes California, this is the only thing that's going to keep playing through the background radiation and occasional earthquake. I hear bunkers are pretty boring, too. I bet you'll be missing your blu-ray more than $135,000 in a destroyed economy!

I got a Laptop that can play Blu-Ray, has a massive screen etc. for £640. And I can play Left 4 Dead on it.

I think I know who wins.

I have a sneaking suspicion that this falls into the same category as $50,000 screwdrivers and $80,000 toilet seats. It's priced that high because the shops rich people buy from only sell super ultra overpriced things. Y'know, like that Michael Jackson interview where he goes to this store that sells vases and statues and just points at everything he wants without asking about price.

Who... Would buy this? I still watch fucking VHS tapes...
Until they released The Dark Crystal on DVD, I shall remain suspicious of its circular nature.
Lol I pretty much don't give a _____ for blue-ray probably not going to buy one anyway. Still that one is waay to expensive it's like blue-ray^2 but probably doesn't look better. I would rather buy a ps3.

For a $135,000 I think it should play all types of games ever made. Even with everything it can do it is not worth $135,000.
