This. A million times this.

Fuck yeah, Anonymous. I don't care if I'm going to be a cop, my view's always been "commit crime if you won't complain if you're caught and punished." This may be illegal, but it's still pretty damn awesome.

This just shows that even companies like the bank of america do illegal stuff and you just can't trust them. Not that I'm saying that Anon is more trusworthy but I wouldn't really care if Anon did some illegal stuff but the bank of america is a completely different story. At the moment it's these companies that look downright evil and not Anon.

btw, someone should totally make a movie about this. The more stuff happens the more interesting this gets.

What I dislike about this article is how you say that Anonymous are heroes. Anon is not a united front. A rapist could take on the name of Anonymous while Jesus himself could do the same. It does not make them equal. Anonymous isn't a group or a march for freedom. It is merely a way to let the scum and the heroes, the devils and the angels of the web, be unknown. So when a hero dedicates the victory to Anonymous, he's simply doing it for his own sake, just like the ones who post the perverted disgusting stuff at /b/ do.

Other than that, kudos to whatever small portion of the Anonymous name that did this. To you excellent freedom fighters, I salute you. We shall not fall to this corruption.

Yet another example of the hypocrisy surrounding the fantasy of "Free Speech". "Oh yes, you have the freedom to say what you want and know what you wan- WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! THATS OUR INFORMATION!

Assange has been branded a criminal and a terrorist by the US for standing by one of their founding ideals.

Yeh...

"Here! We have 60,000 pieces of evidence that this company was going to do underhanded things to Wikileaks!"

"No! They faked it all!"

These guys are worse than the Government of China.
all forms of government are just like well organized Legal mafias, figuratively speaking of course...

What a load of crap. This is completely nonsensical smear because Aaron Barr and HBGary Federal was the one that help bring key members of Anonymous to justice. Anyone who believes this is an idiot.
Pfft *laughs*.

Key members? They caught only wannabes. Anonymous isn't some club, it has no chain of command, and yet still works. If you truly believe that 60,000 files can be produced in a couple days is a STRETCH.

Calling people idiots when you believe anonymous is a coherent organization with "key members"... right...
I don't believe they faked 60,000 emails. I don't believe they even have 60,000 emails, just an encrypted dump on torrents that hasn't been proven by anyone.

Nghnno, I think that you're just being paranoid now. I mean, Anonymous is a self-loathing perfectionist and an atheist on top of that. They can make shit up sure, but not convince "themselfs" to belive on it. "Themselfs" as what they belive to present - Dark part of humanity that we all try to depress and deny.

They cannot seperate themselfs from the masses of people nor is that something they seek for, as Anonymous is just a mask for people to use to speak without guilt or conserne of others.

...
Or maybe Im becoming too fanatic after following them...who knows.
The problem is that Anonymous isn't made up of normal people. Honestly, Anonymous is a catch-all term for anyone who doesn't identify. That's the standard definition in any case, the actual working definition is someone who frequents a small number of websites. Anonymous do not represent humanity, they tend to represent people on sites like 4chan, those people aren't representative of the community around them. For one thing they underestimate the intelligence of those around them. When that Jessie Slaughter thing happened they cleaned up /b/ for one afternoon and pretended to be overly polite. It was a moronic charade and would fool no one but they believed it would.
I agree that nobodies normal, but ...Who are they? Who are they really?

Also on the "underestimate the intelligence of those around them". Yeah those are foolish traps ment to catch foolish people.
Thats the troll mentality in nutshell.

The other problem with Anonymous is that no one knows who they are until someone makes a point of finding out. That means that if five or six very well organised political extremists all decide to launch an attack under the cover of Anonymous people will make assumptions about who they were and what their motivations were.
Thats more of a strength than weakness. If, for example, these five persons can convince "anon" to raise up against something, then that becomes Anonymous goal and movement, and that movement can not be stop'd by removing these five original presenters. And if their identities are then being publiced, they are then simply removed from the mass and labelled either as greedy-nazijewfags or leaderfags debending how Anonymous views them as inviduals.

Otherwise, people should just accept that Anonymous can not be just simply labelled as force of good, bad, political view or organization. They just pick up stuff from the to-do list and gets them done as they please.

Just remember, Anon is just a name for use by anyone, they are still the same people making vile things to anyone who say a word against /b/. But to the ones who used the name for good, power to them.

Anonymous is a "hero"?! Nobody's a fuckin' hero here! It's just everyone being dicks to a different degree! The banks and corporations are dicks by default, Julian is a dick for giving the hornet's nest a good old hefty kick and making the US look worse than it already does, and Anonymous is being a dick just because they don't like anyone trying to get back at Julian for being a dick! It's just a gigantic dickfest! Dicks! Dicks everywhere!
Reminds me of the monologue at the end of 'Team America: World Police'; "sometimes the dicks need to f*** the p***ies otherwise the ass***es will just Sh** all over everyone."

Ok...yeah...this is a whole new layer of awesome that we weren't aware of. But yeah, this group that uses that title "Anonymous" seem to be real pros, well informed and possibly well funded. I smell even more layers of awesome behind that, but those we will probably never know.
the only layer of awesome to anon is they have absolutley no leader or formal structure, and they operate with no funds...

litteraly, how these little operations are put together, is some dude posts a picture with a bunch of ideas and if the mass hive mind likes it, they rush the plan like fucking zergs
