Longest time I spent single was.. 12 years.. at age 13 I got me a girl friend, and have been with a girl ever since. Not same girl mind you. I have a 6 year old son, who I am currently not with his mother, and am dating a new girl for the past 4 months.

I don't mind being single, between current relationship and last one, it was like 10 months, I was good with that.

20 years old and never had a girlfriend, never been kissed too and to be honest, getting really sick of it. Plus every time I asked out a girl, I always get turned down, every. single. time. And after getting sort of rejected (and indirectly virgin shamed) just last week, it got me pretty down. Although me and my friends plan on going out tomorrow, I doubt I'll meet anyone.

Yeah, when it comes to romance and love, I'm not a realist.

Single. Not doing much to progress that cause and I doubt I'm going to meet someone in say, my line of work.
Had what some might refer to as a girlfriend a couple years ago but looking back on it it never really felt like how other people see relationships, but I'm not really feeling the urge to go out and find someone.

Twenty years old, never been in a relationship. Had a crush when I was eighteen, asked her out, she said no. There's my romantic history, look on my works ye mighty and despair.
I still have this Hollywood romance notion in my head that I'll one day find the one, I know there's no reason why it *has* to happen but hey, a guy can dream.

I am more or less in the same position as you are. I am 21 and have never been in a relationship. I have thought about it on occasion but I simply don't put myself in situations to maybe start one nor do I talk to many people in public anyway. I think I have an odd fear of rejection that extends to other things other than asking women out or whatever.

Anyway, I am personally to 'blame' for my situation. I am fine with it as it is but I know very well that I have never put in any effort towards starting a relationship.

I've only really had one real relationship and it ended really abrutly. And it has made me doubt my ability to even function in a relationship/find someone to be in a relationship with.

Single for about a year and a half now after a six year relationship and...frankly? It's liberating as all hell not to have to worry about someone else and their wants or desires on a day to day basis.

I can do what I want, when I want. It's fascinating how much I forgot that I enjoyed that capability after spending 1/4 of my life in a situation I didn't fully want to be involved in.
